This charming little hotel is a hidden gem on Boston’s Back Bay. It appears to be a marina hugging the harbor to the casual viewer, but it is also a stunning little hotel with all the services and conveniences of a large branded property wrapped in a sweet little package. The staff was excellent; friendly and accommodating. There is a spacious open seating area with a bar, TV, pool table, and plenty of books that faces the harbor where you can relax or play while enjoying the expansive view. M.
all reviews » Boston's best kept secret! We loved this hotel. Our room was large and immaculately decorated with a beautiful view over the harbour from our balcony. The hotel is small only 10 bedrooms and you eat your breakfast in your bedroom unusual but we really liked it! We would really recommend this hotel!. The room was everything and more than we expected. The large deck overlooking the water was absolutely beautiful. The plentiful continental breakfast outside our room was a nice touch. A very pleasant stay. Thank you I would consider this a five star hotel for sure. This modern, yacht design hotel is part of a marina so everything is about the sea and boating. Only a couple of blocks from Quincy market and one pier over from Long Wharf where the Provincetwon ferry docks. Great location. Fun and nicely kept hotel. Amazing, amazing view; 20-foot ceilings, wall of windows directly over the harbor. I'm actually afraid to give this place too good of a review - I want to keep it a secret. It only has 12 rooms. My entire family loved it and we were so close to the subway, the Aquarium, bike rentals, Faneuil Hall. The staff was amazing and helpful. Wonderful place to stay - beautiful room with balcony overlooking Boston Harbour. True luxury. We loved it so much we stayed again on our return to Boston 10 days later. The staff were wonderfully accommodative. The setting was fabulous and the room stunning. Love everything about the place. Nice sea view, spacious balcony, wide tv screen, center ally located in Boston waterfront and harbor walk. It was very special--elegant on the inside with a beautiful view out the windows. Excellent location, wonderful views, great facility. Almost everything. Location. The location was perfect. Walking distance from most places and also 5 minutes from the nearest underground station. On the waters edge so views were great and nice to wake up to. Location is great! Very roomy and spacious. Nothing. The hotel is difficult to find from the road it needs to be better sign posted.If I had to think of one thing, The balcony door did not lock. Rooms were very nautical and well tricked out. Bathroom a bit more basic--clean, nice fixtures, etc, just didn't carry the nautical theme to complete the package. Internet cycles off and requires re-registering every hour or so. But its free, so who can complain? It only has 12 rooms. I a had to think of one thing, The balcony door did not lock. Nothing. I might only suggest an upgrade in the bath products, particularly the shampoo. No staff available after hours,. Absolutely nothing. Room did not have a fridge. For this standard of accommodation a small fridge should be provided. Noises. no parking. Although we had no real complaints it is clear that Hotel guests are not as important as the Boat guests. Since all the boats are fully stocked with everything the impression is that Hotel side seems to think it does not need to offer these services to its own Guests. Its a shame because its a lovely Hotel. Breakfast is fairat best and the price, rather high for the type of hotel, remains unexplicable.
