Made our trip to the area do-able being that the pricing was within our budget Coffee in the morning- good staff is accommodating , friendly and had good suggestions for where to eat etc..helpful with my questions, concerns etc... Rooms are clean and beds are super comfortable. Convenience to Stewart Shoppe good location for facility lobby-clean and nice ice machine convenient like the gazebo relatively quiet area considering the closeness in proximity to hospital like hairdryer, towels, sh.

My husband forgot his pillow there so they held it for us and went the extra mile and washed it and bagged it until we returned several days later. Big thanks for exceptional service. everything, it was our second visit at this hotel and the room was better then the last time...everything was new and really clean and confortable. the location is excellent too. Location, amenities, cleanliness, good layout of my room, budget-friendly, rooms were sound-insulated, good deal for the price I paid. Location. outside of building- especially in back and way back could use some painting, sprucing up etc.... Initially smelled a bit smokey but my air freshner quickly put an end to that issue. The lobby smelled stale with smoke. Disappointing as the rest looked clean. nothing. Wish i could have afforded to stay at the Hilton or other fancy hotel for my convention -- but if one can't afford big bucks a night, this was a good alternative. There was nothing I didn't like. We make this trip to Albany every year and always stay here. Only one set of towels in room at check-in. Towels were thin and scratchy. Shower pressure was low. Dirty Sheet Stains on the wall. Room seemed like it had been smoked in, even though it was supposedly a non-smoking room. Minimal breakfast options. Hand towels were pretty thin and coarse; very limited wall plugs and not one available at the bed area. No place to hang up wet towels. Strong odor of cigarettes in lobby. soft matress. no breakfast available. smelled of urine,(room) and the bathroom smelled of mildew when the fan was running, but other than that, I think they try to upkeep the place pretty well. Also, they need to put more than 2 bath towels in the rooms. The staff were poorly trained, except for the gentleman who checked us in, the rest were rude and inefficient. The beds were less than new..Head board was a piece of wood attached to wall. While it wasn't "filthy" or bad dirty ..the corners and crevasses needed attention and my partner said he saw ants several times. I said I didn't see them, but before leaving there was a hole army of tiny tiny ants on the floor between the carpeting and the linoleum of the sink area. heating did not work to well and was loud. Beds, Bathroom. hard mattress; few, small and not-soft towels. The room didn't smell or feel clean. Extremely worn and dated. Lobby area definitely dirty, smelled bad. The whole experience was like going back in time. Bed sagged. Quality of stuff in the room was so so. One star service and help for 4 star price. No microwave. No tea coffee available in room. Parking 2 blocks away and very expensive. No breakfast included. Very noisy from noises outside. Unwanted guest during the night , mouse in the room. needs updating with new vents (rusted and clogged) bed wasn't comfortable at all we even used the comforter as extra padding for the mattress but we only stayed one night so wasn't too bad. Motel condition.
