everything except that i got other room as i stated in the booking
the price. I have been in the same hotel in the summer and paid less and had breakfast included, this time i paid much more and without breakfast, my friend from Germany paid less and had breakfast included. Don´t understand why as i stayed over 2weeks with quite high rate.

Very nice comfortable hotel. Great views from the 40th floor. Helpful staff, especially in the executive lounge Cherry and Vishnu were extra-ordinary. Nice lobby.
The staff were very kind and helpful. They made sure I was. I comfortable even if that meant changing my room at a very busy period of the year.

Really good location, rooms spacious and great views! Having a kitchen with fridge and microwave was perfect, especially having small children who want a drink of milk every 5 seconds! Would stay here again.
Once you were there it was great but finding how I get off Sheikh Zayad Road to get to it was a bit of a pain, lucky we kinda knew where we were going. The only other negative thing was at times we could smell cigarette smoke in the room, it was suppose to be a non smoking room, however we could still smell smoke at times.

We had a very nice stay at Gloria Hotel: big room with balcony, nice view (we had our room on a high level) and we enjoyed the food in the own restaurant (very good value for the money). The check-in and check- out - uncomplicated and quick.
We did not like that everywhere in Dubai they switch on all the time the air conditioning (hotels, restaurants, cafés - every closed room!) What a pitty!

We could have breakfast at The Terrace restaurant in the Arabic part of the restaurant, which was great at this time of year because they had the windows open. Very nice breakfast. Our suite had a covered balcony with a table and two chairs. It was very pleasant to sit there. The views of the sea, Burj Dubai and parts of the Palm Jumeirah were great. And there wasn't any smell of petrol as there's no road close to the hotel on the seaside.
Black marks around parts of the shower unit. A new seal all around it would solve the problem. Apart from that, the suite was very clean and well designed. There seemed to just be one AC control box for the whole suite as opposed to one in the sitting room/dining room and one in the bedroom.
Valet parking service is very bad.
The hotel is located next to the Dubai Internet City metro station. This is very convenient to get to and from the airport.

The set up with 2 bedrooms and with a small baby excellent facilities because the kitchen enabled you to cook meals. Lovely view of The Palm and a close drive to The 'Marina Walk. There isa small supermarket in the lobby so it is nice to be able to buy foodstuffs.
There is a problem with waiting for the elevators. The people on the upper floors fill them and as they are small by the time they come to the 17 or 18 floors they are already full so iy means a long wait. Also staff use them so with a small baby and a stroller there is no room.

The size of room
Read the horror stories about the elevators but during busy hours the service elevators were used to move people. Loved the hotel and its location. Right across the street from the metro station.
I stayed on the 40th Floor in one of the executive rooms with access to the executive lounge for breakfast and afternoon tea/coffee and sandwiches. Also included free wifi and the staff in the executive lounge were very friendly and helpful. I will return to the Gloria on my next trip. They also arranged my airport transfer both ways.

The bathroom of master room was bad smell because the fan not working. The AC of master room was hot not functional well. Other ways every things was ok.

the staff make you feel like home, like they are your real friends, yet in a professional way, speacial credit goes to the recieptionest Ms. Vanessa for her professional friendly attitude and smile ... the view is nice, room is a real value of money if not exceeding, lot of restaurants and good facilities, overall a good experience

I had a bad experience with with gloria elevators, a lot of time was wasted waiting especially that I had to use it in the rush hours and go to the business\confernces floor daily. Also, my room safe stopped working and I was going back and fourth with the staff for more than an hour to get it fixed

Being very close to Metro. So, have a choice of taxi or train. The view of the Palm and the coming The World (from top floors of course).
A big dislike on the check-in 'blocking' policy. Shows lack of trust in guests. The rubber lining of refrigerator keeps coming off. Wastage of electricity.
