Situated 10 minutes’ drive from the city of Worcester, Daybrook House was built during the 1700s and combines period features such as beamed ceilings and fireplaces, with modern central heating and free Wi-Fi.
A TV, en suite shower room and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each of the individually decorated rooms at Daybrook. They offer views of the well-kept garden.
A full English breakfast is served in the cosy dining room. Local produce is used wherever possible, with meat sourced from local butchers and eggs from local hens.
Worcester city centre features a cathedral, restaurants and many high street shops. Open-air markets are often held, as well as live music and theatre at the Swan Theatre.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The house is full of character with
a cosy lounge and beamed rooms. The bedroom and en-suite were clean and
well-proportioned. Breakfasts offered a wide variety of food whilst
other meals are available at nearby pubs plus Indian and Chinese
restaurants. The house is situated on a bus route between Worcester,
Malvern and Ledbury whilst these towns plus Hereford, Leominster,
Evesham, etc are easily reached by car. We would definitely recommend
this B&B. . all reviews »
Beautiful room in a lovely old house. It really is a gem, set in a well cared for garden and yet so close to the road into Worcester.
We were made to feel really welcome and the breakfast was delicious.
We were stopping on our way home from Devon and did not feel like going into Worcester very much. There was a decent enough pub within walking distance and a really good Indian Restaurant nearby.
All in all a really enjoyable stay and great value for money.
Jackie - the owner- was extremely friendly and welcoming. We received a pot of fresh coffee on arrival. The house was delightful with a log fire in the living room and has plenty of character as it was built in the 18th century. The breakfast was superb, all homecooked with a good variety of food and lovely fresh coffee served in a cafetiere. Excellent value for money and I would definately recommend staying in Daybrook House.
Simply put, Daybrook House is a superbly managed Guest House. Our room was excellent and the breakfasts were cooked to perfection. Our hostess was clearly very experienced and polite. The city centre of beautiful Worcester and the nearby Elgar Birthplace Museum are only minutes away, while neighbouring counties and their attractions are quickly reached by the road network.
Jacqui our hostess! Her genuine pride and pleasure in her beautiful home and its print collection and period furniture made our visit special. She likes people and wants to share the delights of her home with others: NO female Fawlty here!
Room was lovely too; also we were given a choice!.
I found the 1700 century period property well kept with all th expected
amenities, the owner had good knowledge of the local area and if not the
information was available, tea on arrival with fantastic service, this
continue into the morning at breakfast, thank you Jackie x.
It is a beautiful house in a lovely location and the owner, Mrs Harvey,
couldn't do enough for you. The food and the room were both
excellent and I have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend
Daybrook House without any hesitation and hope to make a return visit.
Beautiful interior, very well appointed.
Excellent breakfast.
The owner was friendly and made us most welcome.
If we go to that part of the country again we will definitely stay there.
She was able to recommend a very good place for our evening meal too.

The house is very central to Worcester City and surrounding areas, but at the same time not in an overly busy area.
The service from Jaquie was excellant and she made us feel very welcome.
The house was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was lovely.
Wonderful place to stay, we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Jacki to make us happy with our stay, just to sit in her beautiful garden with coffee was a pleasure, thanks for a special time that we will always remember.
It was very comfortable, we liked the attention to period detail which fitted in well with the building. All fixtures and fittings were of good quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked using good ingredients. The owner was very welcoming and friendly.
The lovely friendly owner who made us feel really welcome. We loved the breakfast including the effort that had been made to serve fresh ingredients and the way it was served with crockery and cutlery suited to the age of the house.
We love olde worlde places and Daybrook House fits the bill perfectly. Jackie is a wonderful Lady who does her utmost to please her guests. Ask her about the history of the house and the renovation work that she has carried out.
We had a lovely break at daybrook house, the breakfasts were lovely, served on beautiful crockery in a very relaxing environment with excellently made fresh coffee and a lovely hostess who knows how to look after her guests.
Excellent contemporary décor, extensive period features, wood floors, high beds, leaded glass window, oak beams- lovely!!.made very welcome by owner, great breakfast and all for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.
Very friendly and helpful owner.
Building dates from Queen Anne and has period charm and character.
Set in a quiet corner away from traffic noise.
Rooms kept v.clean, comfortable bed and v.good breakfast.
I liked everything. The house is beautiful with wonderful furnishings. Everything very clean, comfy bed and beautiful bed linen. Jackie, the owner, makes you feel very welcome. Would certainly go back.
Lady of the house was very friendly and cooked a state-of-the-art English breakfast.
Room was very neat and comfi.
Really what one expects from a typical English countryside bead&breakfast.
Jacqui was a wonderful hostess, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast as little or as much as you wanted and cooked to your taste. A perfect little hideaway retreat with lots of character.
Superb and charming 18th century building in which every part of the B&B experience oozes quality. Lovely welcome from our attentive hostess
Very handy for the superb city of Worcester.
Great breakfast and lovely room with comfortable bed. Beautiful old house. Bus stop outside so no need to use the car. Restaurants within walking distance. The owner is really friendly.
The host was very welcoming and cooked us a delicious breakfast. The house is beautifully decorated throughout and the sitting room with fire place has a warm cosy feel. Thank you!.
The building was old with many original features and charm. Hospitality was excellent. Lovely breakfasts, including fresh fruits for starter. Convenient for bus to town centre.
The perfect retreat for a get away break. On the outskirts of a pretty city staying in the sort of accommodation you would only find on a chocolate box or a jigsaw puzzle.
Warm, friendly welcome from Jackie. We appreciated the offer of tea in
the lounge on arrival (even though we weren't able to take up the
invitation). Delicious breakfast.
A beautiful period house (early C18) with some original features and very tasteful décor; a friendly but not intrusive landlady; beautiful lounge and great breakfast.
Took us back in time, reminded us of days gone by,pleasantly, leaded
fireplace, oak beams, collection of artefacts from days gone by..we
loved it and would go back.
Beautiful old building with bags of character.Wonderful hospitality from
Jackie and a great breakfast. The Indian restaurant a few mins walk away
is excellent.
The whole atmosphere of this period property. A warm welcome, helpful advice on where toeat, and an excellent breakfast. All the rooms tastefully furnished.

Very quite, clean and took very little time to get into Worcester.
Jackie was a great host.
A lovely and charming 17th century house my partner and I loved all its charm.
The breakfast was great.
We liked the atosphere of the old house and garden
Bus stop out side very helpful to go into Worcester as park is differcult.
The lady of the house demonstrated the balance of helpfulness and
friendliness , we thoroughly enjoyed her hospitality.
Very comfortable. Fascinating building circa 1705. Pleasant, knowledgeable and witty owner - Jackie. Recommended.
Liked the house full of character, well sited for what we wanted. Hostess very nice and lovely breakfasts.
Fantastic relaxing atmosphere, very clean and comfortable, Jackie the owner couldn't do enough for us.
The accommodation. Very welcoming owner. Very helpful. Well placed for sightseeing and shopping.
Excellent host, excellent breakfast, excellent bed, the best hotel i have stayed in for somre time.
Enjoyed everything about the stay. Lovely breakfast was served on hot plates which is important.
Really nice property. Lots of character. Not your run of the mill BandB. Really welcoming owner.
Extremely friendly host and made us feel very welcome even though we were only staying 1 night.
Very friendly hostess
Well appointed room
Perfect for a short break to explore the local area.
Wonderful old house.close to Malvern and Worcester Very comfortable bed.Owner very pleasant.
Road noise in the early morning.
Everything was first class.
The road noise was not to loud as describe by others but the owner had
this in hand and is in the process of getting high quality oak internal
windows to soften the noise, no real problem for us.
There was nothing not to like.
nothing.
The stairs are very steep and windy and not suitable for an elderly person, or disabled.
nothing.
There was nothing that we didn't like.
Would have loved to have stayed another night to enjoy the house and its treasures a bit more.
The shower was awfully small.
Very busy road nearby with distrubing taffic noise.
Not the best placed bed and breakfast if you had business to do in the evenings in your room. Due to the age of the property there was little insulation to noise internally eg. stairs/doors, however on the upside the noise externally was not a problem.
The only thing I didn't like was that we were only there for two nights!.
Room provided was not the one shown on the order confirmation.
Website pictures implied a more rural location - being on a main road
there is some road noise.
Nothing.
Nothing to dislike.
Busy road nearby, but quiet at night.
nothing had a great stay thanks Jackie.
Maybe it was us... But it wasnt easy to find. Some wont like the busy main road, although its a matter of personal preference.
nothing.
Nothing.
Found shower a bit small and with no movable shower head not easy.
I would like to point out that your terms of buisiness were not clear,
we thought we had settled the bill with our hostess before our stay
since all details of banking had been given . Surely this is a
management issue on your part.
Ensuite shower room bit small for my rather large husband but given the age and design of house would have been difficult to have made it any larger. Very clean though and I managed adequately.
Being very picky here, but the only fault would be the car park as it is quite small.
Shower would benefit from bi-fold doors.
Nothing. Shame we could not hve stayed longer and had better weather!.
Road slightly noisy but thats all.
Shower very small.
