The cleanest and neatest place I have ever stayed in! It was lovely! The single room I had was cosy with lovely white covers. The bathroom was modern and spotless. I would recommend this place to everyone. I noticed the other larger rooms were very well appointed. Breakfast was lovely. The whole place was faultless!.

We loved Eleanor, she was fabulous and really friendly and her room was beautiful and warm. done to a lovely standard. The room was on the ground floor and had a shower, which was good for me as I have difficulty walking upstairs. Miles better than Premier Inn and more welcoming.
I was very happy to stay the BAY GUEST HOUSE.I could found very nice people who very much take care of their guests.Very polite , friendly, making family atmosphere. House very clean.I have already recommended this house to my friends.this was very nice time to take a rest.
Lovely location, we had two rooms for 4 people, the main balcony room was spacious, with a wonderful view and roomy balcony, the en suite had large shower. The downstairs double had a huge king size bed and pleasant en suite.
This guesthouse is right on the beach in a nice area in Southend. The owners are lovely and welcoming people. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was really nice too! I will be definitely be staying here again.

Lovely large room with a view of the sea. Warm room due to the fact that the sun was on it when it was out. Freshly cooked breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

It wasnt a problem to us becuase we are early risers, but i thought breakfast being served until 9.30am was a bit early and would suggest it being served until 10am.
That I couldn't stay longer!!!.

the house is perfect !!!! :).
We were surprised that the rooms were not cleaned on the morning of our second of our two day stay, beds were not made, not even the rubbish bins were emptied or fresh towels provided, nor the tea cups washed!! Somebody did manage to top up the milk and biscuits though!!.
The only downside was the shower in our room - too hot to be able to stand under.

Visitors don't have control over the heating. There was not even lukewarm water, let alone hot, at 23.30. To take shower wasn't possible until morning!!!.

we were to pay £80.00. We didn't pay the extra £20.00 as we told
