Room Comfortable, Quiet room request was met although not guaranteed, most staff were pleasant and helpful. the convenience of being able to park your car on site, not very often you can!. Check in staff friendly - but the trainee who served me, whilst willing, was inexperienced and had to keep asking what to do. It was a very clean well presented hotel. Good breakfast. We had a nice enough room although the telephone didn`t work, no calling for room service! or reporting the fact that the bathroom light took 3mins to come on after the switch was used. Plus at least one high watt bulb would be nice, either in bathroom or bedroom.The room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Price through the website was good value for money. When I came to pay my bill I was charged £95 for the double room my husband and I had so wasa disappointed as when booking on the internet the booking price was £90 I didnot like to make a fuss as the hotel had been super. Next time I will make sure I take the copy of my internet booking with me I was overcharged by £15.00. 1.Room had lingering aroma of cigarette smoke even though "No Smoking" has been the policy for at least a year. 2.Tea should never be offered in an insulated pumped container. The result is a grey, horribly flavoured, warm liquid. However, it was possible to get a freshly brewed pot of (teabag) tea which was fine. TomTom/SatNav owners beware, the post code takes you to a spot 2.5 miles from the Hotel.Noisy air-conditioning unit whilst having dinner in the restaurant. Poor lighting in bedroom. I had booked a double room with twin beds, what I was given was a double room with a double bed. reception was busy booking in guests for the wedding, so i did not have time to ask for another room. Sat nav was unable to find it!. no in-room internet access. drincks at the bar were expensive. Room was comfortable but a little bit run down. We always prefer a cooked to order breakfast rather than a buffet.Treadmill in gym out of order for whole stay. no wifi. Thought some of the rooms needed to be refurbished, not tired but some rough edges. Breakfast - Didn't like the flasks for coffee and tea. Unfortunately the bacon and fried eggs did not keep well on the hot plates.my room needed updating or in need of a make over.....was worn and torn. The restaurant was tucked away and not easily found. Staff were helful though and dicted me.Loud intermittent buzzing from ceiling during the night - reported to staff next day. did not like constant interruptions by housekeeping staff. one person actually entered without even knocking first.bathroom was to dark needs more lighting , bar prices to high . The gym and swimming poor were very poor - equipment was very sub standard, pool too small - description of leisure club is really overstated. Bar staff not helpful re what was available Longish wait for a mealGot a cheap deal on booking.com. Would not have been happy at full price at the service etc. The room needed a good facelift.I had made a complaint about my room service menu not detailing items which unfortunately contained products I was allergic to and was not obvious until I have bitten into the meal. Thus a minor allergic reaction. I could clearly see the hotel is under a much needed up-lift.I used the pool and sauna etc all of which were sadly very tired, I'm sure this will be corrected in time.The room whilst perfectly adequate was also very tired again I know it is under a much needed up-lift.Room was outdated and old fashioned, and tv reception awful. Horrible 1980's decor, all orange, green and swirly carpets!. The wireless network did not work in my room - I had to sit in the bar with my computer !. Noise from motorway. the standard of the bathroom was very poor. Very noisy on the bedroom corridors after the bar closed. Poor breakfast service - radio blaring out, offhand service, shown to a dirty table. the attitude of the staff ruined my stay. Rooms a bit dark. Also very noisy rooms. There didn't seem to besoundproofing and I could here voices from adjacent rooms. some of the staff were "unfriendly" to say the least and one in particular didn`t seem to know how to smile. See above!. They charged me for my newpapers! They should have at least told me first.

- From the M25, leave at junction 4.
- Follow the signs for Bromley and Orpington until reaching a roundabout.
