This hotel was recently refurbished, but thankfully that does not meanmodernised. It still retains all the comfort and charm that we knewpreviously. It's an ideal winter break hotel with large open fires inall the public rooms and so cosy you really feel like curling up infront of one of the fires in dressing gown and slippers. Thanks for agreat night's stay. Good room and staff, great food.all reviews »
enjoyed the standard of the room -cleanliness and freshness. Roudy group of men moved from private function room into hotel bar around 10pm. Took over the previously quiet comfy bar and some loud foul 'F' words used. Other customer was complaining to reception as we chose to leave, so don't know how staff handled the situation.
