Vegetarian and special diets can be catered for. The bustling harbour front is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the B&B. Penzance Rail Station is surrounded by bars, shops and an art gallery, and is a 5-minute walk away.

Almost everything. The room (Room 2)was spacious with more than ample storage for all our clothes. The view from the room overlooking the sea was absolutely amazing. Our hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The portions and content of the breakfast was all one could ask for. During our 14 night stay the bed linen and towels were changed frequently and tea/coffee facilities were replaced as used.

Quality breakfasts, proper coffee. Short walk to Station and town. Free onsite parking.. The host Thomas made me very welcome. The rooms are decorated on a very English cottage style. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The breakfast provided was also excellent. The Mount Royal is on a perfect location if you want to explore the area by bus our train. If you would like to experience staying at a hotel with good old traditional service and luxury, then this is a hotel to visit. From the personal attention to detail and a chance to converse with the owners, our stay was the most memorable of our vacation. The view from our room was sensational. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was beautiful. It was close to all the main attractions and had off street parking. The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly. Sink taps need attention. Box of hand tissues also missed. There was truly nothing to dislike. The bathroom was small. would have liked a shower as well as bath, but this did not spoil anything.......... No 110 plug for shaver. We use them to charge ipad and iphone. They did try to find a substitute,. Nothing. The only thing that disappointed us was the bedroom room 5, was on the small side with a damp smell coming from the bathroom, but was bearable for a week,. Having to leave. There was no down side. Nothing to complain about. Traffic noise. Nothing. None. The room was cold, bathroom basic, lack of shelving for clothing, bathroom very basic. The Room smelled a bit and we had some problems with the WiFi.
