New, modern hotel with a comfortable bed and great shower and breakfast. comfortable surroundings and room, friendly staff. Hotel looked fairly new, was clean, with good rooms and was opposite a Harvester restaurant. Very helpful staff. Very new and clean. Excellent choice for Continental breakfast. Comfortable bed, clean and secure accommodation.Good breakfast facilities. Locality - 50th Birthday in Northampton therefore only a taxi ride away. nice eating place close by and lovely breakfast. Not disturbed and staff very helpful.My girlfriend stayed and her friends not me but they said it was alot better than where they normally stay. They will come back. It's a great feeling when you enter your room for the fiorst time and the entertainment/TV screen says "Welcome Mr Pougher". It was very convenient, right next to the motorway. The toilet smelt and was not particularly clean.check in. despite max heating, we found that the room was cold and a bath would have been nicer than a shower.Noise from motoway culd still be heard in room but didnt stop ussleeping. the hallways smelt like cigerettes, at 11 am a smoke or fire alarm went of for several seconds and frightened me an my partner.The breakfast was continental and therefore limited, however they ranout of some items which spolit the entire experiance for my family. Imade a complaint. Sofa bed was diabolical!!. quality of bedding was quite poor even for a budget hotel - shower only managed to produce luke warm water - having booked a family room was surprised that the room was very small - had to ask for bedding for sofa bed despite having made reservation for 3 people although staff remedied this as soon as I mentioned it even then no pillows supplied for sofa bed had to use the cushions from the sofa. Cold rooms, set the air conditoner to 25 C but it was freezing cold at the window wall. No isolation at all in a new hotel?. The bathroom door handle kept banging on the bathroom door rail making a noise each time the door was opened.
