Though art deco is not really my style, I chose it just because it was the only hotel in the city center with no serious negative guest reviews. And indeed, the hotel was perfect in all aspects: friendly staff, spacious and well equipped room, clean, great location and view at a very good price. I appreciated free dinner on the first night and 2 free hours internet in the room every day. The room was small but really comfortable, clean and in good condition. The food in the restaurant was excellent and you could not be located closer to the train station if you tried! I would recommend the hotel for a short visit to Leeds as it is so centrally located with helpful staff and a late bar!.

The hotel is ideally placed within the town centre with easy access to the Gallery, Tiled Hall, Museum and many more facilities and ammeneties, it is also ideally placed for the train station but parking is limited and at a premium. hairdryer in room would not work,when we got there some of the electrics had tripped out, may have been caused by the hairdryer. lovely setting and surroundings..And size of the rooms were excellent and beds very comfortable. position of hotel; speed of checkin. I requested a room on a high floor at the front of the hotel and that's what I got. However be aware on the 8th floor the fascade of the hotel does obscure half of the window, we didn't find this a problem. The hotel has secondary double glazing, it worked well for us but we were on the 8th floor. I thought the food was excellent and the rooms were very clean and spacious. I had no faults about my stay here and would like to return in the future.just relaxed and chilled out, the room was lovely and clean, lots of room, the bed was a really good size and the 2 flat screen tellys were great. The Bar Area was fantastic and the rooms where spacious and clean, plus you get a flat screen in the room with sky sports!. The personnel at dinner and breakfast was welcoming and friendly.Theroom was very nice and tidy. Reception was cordial. Centralized location to city. All staff extremely freindly and courteous. As stated alfready just the noise from the lift. Back ground music was not in keeping. No loved it. choice of meals for dinner very small. There was very little storage in the room and bathroom also there was nofull length mirror which would have been nice.Lack of parking is my only issue. Room was very cold on arrival. yes the mini bar was really badly over priced. seven pound for a miniature drink and five pound for nuts.... more people would use the minibar if it was correctly priced. One major criticism - tiny bathroom!!!!.

There is plenty to see and do in Leeds and the surrounding area. The city offers superb shopping and many historic buildings have been converted into beautiful ornate shopping malls, such as the Victoria Quarter or the Corn Exchange, which offer a choice of unique high-fashion boutiques. As you would expect, Leeds also offers the usual range of well-known high street shops and familiar department stores.
