I liked that from the moment we arrived i felt welcomed and comfortable, the rooms were spotless and undated. Every little comfort was thought of down to hotwater bottles and sewing Kits if needed.loves the tea and coffee facility in room which also included Decaf, mini bar was fab and shop prices, not escalated prices. All in all wonderful for us, breakfast was a delight, home made Bread and loves the fresh mango . Yum. Thanks Ladies, fabulous stay.
all reviews » 10/10. Jane and Anna couldn't do enough for us. A warm welcome and a lovely room with everything we needed and more. Breakfast was superb: my gluten and lactose intolerances and other allergies were well catered for - Jane would not be defeated! The location was also brilliant: within easy reach of the beach (and the start of the Norfolk Coast Path), bus station and eating places. Would highly recommend and stay there again. I cannot fault The Bays. Anna and Jane were brilliant and made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts are amazing and all cooked to order using fresh ingredients. The homemade bread and preserves were superb and so much variety! The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable. There were nice touches, like a fridge in the bedroom and freshly laundered bathrobes for guests. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice of home made flavoured bread. We normally stay on the opposite side of Hunstanton and didn't know the Bays existed but so glad we found this beautiful guest house. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. The Bays guesthouse was one the nicest guesthouses we've ever stopped at. The rooms were spotless and comfy and the breakfast was absolutely excellent. All home made and local produce, even down to the bread! Lovely friendly atmosphere, you were made very welcome. You can tell people go back regularly. Everything... We were welcomed like long time friends instead of first time guests. The room was superb, the linens luxurious, the beds were comfortable. It was close to the beach for a nice stroll and decent eateries nearby. Breakfast was superb, we are definitely going to book in here again!. The breakfast. The attic room was described as lacking head room which it certainly was ! I am 6ft 2 and couldnt stand up straight, but I had been warned. it all, the comfort,the attention to detail,(even a shoe shine kit and sewing kit in our room)nothing was to much trouble,excellent breakfast and so much variety and Jane and Anna were just the perfect hosts. Although there's lots to do during the day and the countryside around is beautiful, there was only one really nice restaurant and there was a lack of decent pubs in the town. Car parking.There is room for everyones car but 1st one in would have to disturb other guests to depart. The attic room's ceiling was too low. There wasn't anything to dislike. There is nothing whatsoever to not like and impossible to complain about !. The only thing we didnt like, was having to leave after three days. Will go again without a doubt. Going home!. Just the lack of head room. there was nothing to dislike just the perfect place for a lovely holiday. The bathroom was slightly on the small side. Room was a little dark. There was nothing to dislike at all. The shower was a little temperamental. There was nothing to dislike. nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Can not think of a thing at all. I am afraid Hunstanton was not a particularly pretty place which is my only negative comment. Nothing. Water pressure was poor so shower was not great but this is not the fault of The Bays. nothing to critisise. Nothing. Only that there was someone else underwear in one of the drawers... The only other thing is not against the place but the area, it is not really suitable for young people as not much to do day or night, evening was like a ghost town. Nothing to report. parking restricted. Beds a little hard but personal choice. Parking area a bit small but plenty of parking along the street free of charge. Nothing at all.
