The staff were very friendly and helpfull.Our room was comfortable in fact i have not slept so well in a hotel before. I enjoyed everything , all the staff are polite cheerfull and helpfull.a good basis room for what we wanted. town centre location. The staff were friendly and helpful - very chatty and made usfeel welcome. Its location suited my needs for my stay.
all reviews » The Hotel was very good value for money and I would definitely stay there again if the twin or double rooms stay at £30 per night. It is quiet and the room are nice, closed to all the shopping. in the central area.staff is nice.self-service English breakfast (not included in the hotel rate). central location, excellent cleanliness. The breakfast was expensive at £7.50 for continental and £10.50 for full english.An option of say just toast and coffee at a reasonable price would have been nice. Yes - the hotel's internet service provider is crap. I lost 20mins ofconnection (timed out) due to the poor connection. The receptionistnotice this immediately and called their hot line but a re-start of thecomputer failed to resolve this (any idiot could have told you that). Ithen called their hot line on my mobile - they were polite and triedtheir best. A technician was sent.Some few aspects of the decor were a little 'tired' and I suspect some refurbishment is scheduled. For example, the white entrance door to my room was a little dirty and marked. This is a minor criticism of what was otherwise a nice hotel. the bathroom floors need to be renowed. getting too old. with a little more fashion new , or a new decorting. would it be perfect.early morning noise (before 7.00 am) on Sunday. The drinks at the bar were a little on the expensive side.lift slow and shabby decor. i was mcharged 3 times on my debit card instead of once. I just feel the decor could do with being updated. it would of been nice if it had a small fridge in the room together with up to date digital tv. Not easy to find way into car park. Not very well sign posted especially in the dark. Rather dated dacor.the kettle in the room could do with being replaced. The hotel (furnishings and fittings) is looking very tired and needs an update.Yes a Fire alarm !. The lifts could do with some updating ..... a bit on the slow side. Unfortunately there was a weddind reception on in the evening so we could not use the bar. the elevators were a bit outdated and slow. A little out of date. english breakfast is a bit expensive, particularly as it is now buffet and can have sat there for a while. Computer reservation system was playing up when I arrived and still bad when I left.we were abit miffed that the shower did not work but we managed to use our friends shower in the next room. pubic hair left in bath. Decor in need of update. starting to get 'tired' and in need of a refurb.
