The room was perfect, spacious and relaxing. My 8 yr old daughter had her 1st stay in a hotel and loved it. The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly. Later in the visit i saw 3 housekeepers who were friendly. Ideal location as my brother lives a few minutes drive away. This was my first experience of a Premier Inn. The room was very comfortable. The staff were kind, helpful and looked after me very well. I would stay again and would recommend to my work colleagues. The Haven next door do very good meals too.

Liked that room number was not spoken but shown silently on a card - as a woman travelling alone this was very reassuring. Good food in next door restaurant. Every Thing . It was easy to find,rooms clean and quiet,staff friendly and very polite.Breakfast superb,will go again. comfortable very clean. the pub next door reasonably priced, handy. staff efficient friendly. the space in the room was fantastic. Despite the hotel's claim that if you are not satisfied a refund is possible, the room was cold and I am 80 with my son's 7 year old boy. Partially our fault as thermostat wasn't recognised, but the plug (they said they were new) got jammed and we finished up emptying the sink with a mug!. Booking.com not passing on to Premier Inn correct amount of people staying as a bed had to be made up on our arrival. nothing we got what we booked, we knew it wasnt on the sea front. service at breakfast was to slow would be better with a buffet service for the hot breakfast as well as the other options. We also had to use costa coffee cups as they ran out of clean mugs. The rooms could do with more milk, coffee, tea etc. It was offered at the reception but by the time you went to the room. Didn't want to go back down. No lift!! Unbelievable in this day and age! I don't how Premier Inn gets away with this ...there is no mention of it on booking forms or other literature that we saw. Last time we stayed at Grimsby we had a ground floor room, so no problem. People who can't manage stairs easily do not always think of themselves as 'disabled' so would not automatically ask for ground floor room as they would expect to find a lift!. on entry the room was cold and wasn't easy to warm up. Right on an industrial estate!. Nothing but the extractor in the bathroom didn't work. Price in December. we would have liked more tea, coffee and sugar in the room. nothing. The facilities apart from restaurant next door were really limited. Vending machines were pretty rubbish. Other guests very noisy. Wi-fi was very slow,not good enough in this day and age. the shower...no pressure! the size of bed. not long enough. Other guest noise very late in the evening. i didnt like that the rooms were freezing, dont like there customer service as they sed we wud get our money back for our disurbed sleeps n we only recieved 30% of it & also we asked for a spare quilt as it was soo cold, we was told one would be sent to our room & it never came!!!.
