Reasonably priced. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Breakfast. Evening meal choice limited, but good value. Reasonably priced bar! Good choice for contractors. Nice sized bath in my room!. Room lovely and warm,heating stayed on all night! Food very good especially breakfast. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Next time we are up north we will definitely come back!.
all reviews » Staff were very friendly. Large bar area with pool tables for socialising. Staff helped arrange low cost transport to city centre which only took about 10mins travel time. Staff exceptionally friendly, really happy to help. Mentioned a taxi and they booked it for me. Breakfast good. Bedside lamp supplied,but nowhere to plug it in!Bathroom could have used some form of ventilation. Shower in morning was freezing and my friends said theirs was too hot. Nothing all good. there was a loud noise in the bed room that got louder and louder so went and complained so they moved us rooms found out in the morning they need new boiler. there was a strange noise what seem to last all night,a generator or something dont suppose its there fault and would still stay again. Finished serving meals early and had to go back out to eat. It was out way and you couldn't see it and just out way in Gateshead. Cold Water. bathrooms and doors to room Were old warn and Ineed of a update. *Noise from traffic. *Banging noises, particularly during the night, heard overhead when staying in the "Gemma" room. Shower wasn't easy to regulate temp. Mattres a little soft. Check out slightly earlier than used to. small bed. not safe！！. the price.
