Convenient to Bristol Airport, Easy to find. Local pub which serves good food a short walk away. Greeted by Sarah with a welcoming cup of tea. Cosy breakfast / sitting room with log fire. The bedroom was spacious, tastefully decorated, and very clean, as was the ensuite. This is a beautiful home. Breakfast was a feast to the eyes and the taste buds! We would stay here again. A lovely welcome with a cup of tea in front of the wood burning stove. Paul & Sarah were very friendly and made me feel 'at home' I don't usually travel on my own so that was nice. The Bristol Suite was warm and cosy. A hearty full English breakfast made with locally sourced produce 'set me up' for the day. Would definitely stay again.
all reviews » Everything! We booked at the last minute, but were welcomed in by the very friendly owners. There was plenty of space for parking. The rooms were lovely, the beds were comfortable, the whole house was beautiful! Breakfast was a delight - they include a veggie breakfast in their menu. It's a shame we weren't staying longer!. Really appreciate the effort our hostess took...we were supposed to reach at 10 pm...but due to some issues, we were late and reached at 1AM...but there was a proper instruction on the door and we were able to have a proper sleep..... The welcome. The room was nice, comfortable, with a well appointed bathroom. It was close to Bristol Airport which was the reason it was chosen. It was also easy to find. Really, we enjoyed everything. We were greeted by the owner with a cup of tea and made to feel at home. There's a great pub over the road where we had a first-class meal. Very friendly owners - the complimentary tea when we arrived was nice. Rooms were well appointed & tastefully decorated. We'd definitely visit again. Warm welcome, even with a late arrival. It was difficult to find, just me on my own, looking and driving at the same time... But now I know it's by the bus stop!. Very little. The only thing worth mentioning was that one of the toilets was slightly awkward - the handle and bolt were very close to the sink. But this really was a tiny issue. nothing. A hair dryer in the room would have been useful, but I didn't ask for one so there may have been one available. Nothing. They need a bigger sign outside - I drove past it once and nearly twice even though it is on the main road. Hard to find but I should note that I did not have a phone to get clarification on how to find them. I used Google maps and was not overly familiar with the area so with a quick phone call I am sure I would have had no problem. would have liked the bathroom all to ourselves but didn't prove to be an issue at all. There was no where to put our bag to unpack it. Nothing. Nothing. No negative comment really was everything we needed for the one night stay. Noisy road. Can't think of anything!. Nothing bad to report. Nothing. House is on a main road and there was a lot more traffic noise than we anticipated, if you are in a room at the front of the house. Nothing. The shower was very cramped in fact we did not use it on the second night. Nothing. Shower was a tad small & you can hear the traffic pass when the window was open at night. parking or lack of adequate space When ireturned from an evening outthere was only one narrow space left that was difficult and dangerous to get into.So narrow it took along timetoget out of carIwas really stuck and the whole businessof parking took me over an hour.Was told in the morning that there was more space round the back but by then it was too late. all good. sorry but the bed was so bad it had a hump in the centre and no give in it you felt you were falling out of bed didn’t sleep much at all, at one point we considered sleeping on the floor, there is no way on earth I would stay again unless they changed the beds (sorry).
