The staff were absolutely excellent. Service was magnificent. The hotel was in superb condition because of the recent renovations 4 years ago. Your room and bathroom feel like a 5 star hotel. The hotel owner was very helpful and friendly, helped us with everything and anything we needed, from renting a car to booking us an airport transfer. Food at their restaurant is excellent as well. It was a perfect stay. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking to get a majestic view of the Me.
all reviews » The location is superb, 3 minutes walk from Sultanahmet Square and major sights. The facilities and decor are simple but everything - air-con, hot water etc - worked well. Good breakfast buffet. The staff are helpful and delightful - when a tour bus was very late in arriving the manager telephoned, chased them up and sorted it out for us very efficiently. The cook/housekeeper is a particular sweetie. Excellent value for money. I stayed at this hotel from February 6-13, I paid for a week just 105 euro. Good staff especially a man who sits in the afternoon and the woman who cleans the room, a very kind woman. Small comfortable hotel. I really enjoyed my stay there, the hotel for those who are not looking for luxury, but for those who wanna see i̇stanbul and who just want a place to sleep. You can easily recommend this place to customers. The breakfast in an other place à 20 m is beautifull...I enjoyed it , it was a lovely week . The bed was slightly hard and some noisy neighbours. breakfast , noise . room was very small not as they mention on letsbookhotel.com. little bit noisy in the morning. Poor noise isolation. Small room, not enough space if more than one person in room. we had a problem in the bathroom with douche canal ...they didn't fix it for 4 days* no matter that we say this in fluent turkish.... our mistake-we had pay in 1st day. too noisy. We had to change three rooms before the flush in the room could work properly. In two rooms the flush in the toilet was broken. This hotel is situated in the back streets of Istanbul.The hotel was very noisy.My room was under the staircase leading to the roof were we had our breakfast.The room and bathroom had a very musty smell as there is no ventilation.Shower was leaking. Overall a very dirty hotel. I had *endless* issues with my booking - with the hotel telling my my credit card details were invalid (this was untrue - I had no problems at other hotels). They were incredibly rude when I tried on numerous occasions to rectify the situation. My hotel room was very stuffy and when I asked to be able to use my aircon, I was told that it is switched off for the duration of winter (it was >27'C).
