Good value for money and location. Lovely breakfast place on top floor and good breakfast. simple guest house meet your basic needs. friendly and helpful owner. The historical sites and grand bazaar are walking distance. Must do Bosphorus Cruise tour very good orientation of the city. Its cheaper sold in Istanbul just around the vendors in Hagia Sophia no need to book to in advance. Costs about 35 lira for 2 hours sight seeing cruise. No frills but worth it and save money.
all reviews » The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms we got the first time were nice and big enough for 2 people.The location is good, a short walk from all the main attractions. The breakfast room is very nice.There wasn't much variety at breakfast but when we complained about this they added more items the next day which was very nice of them. - Very close to many touristic objectives and tram station - Perfect panorama view from the highest floor situated restaurant - Very friendly hotel manager (no english, but good smile) - Cleaning room every day (towels, sheets, soap etc) - free WiFi, air conditioning, parking in front of the hotel and all you could want from a 3 stars hotel. We loved this hotel for its location, great breakfast with very nice view, very friendly and kind staff. The bathrooms were very clean with really good showers. Basically for the price new era was a fantastic hotel, we stayed there twice on our trip to Turkey and I would go straight back there next time.
