What people say
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Byzas and wish we had known about it on
the two previous occasions when we had stayed in Istanbul. Some of the
reasons for our enjoyment are listed below. Extremely clean rooms, well-
serviced daily. Generous traditional Turkish buffet breakfast. The
downstairs restaurant - owned by the same establishment- was excellent
value and the food was delicious when we ate there in the evenings.
Pleasant helpful and informative staff and management. Even though the

I liked everything about our stay. The room is budget, but it was always
clean and we had what we needed, and room was quite spacious too. Staff
is very friendly, we stayed at other hotels in Istanbul and this was by
far the most friendly we stayed in. Its nothing chic, it's a basic
room, but it's very much worth the money. The are is good too.
Location is very good and major sights are with-in walking distance. Owner speaks good English and runs a travel agency on first floor. Perfect for arranging airport shuttle. Small, simple restaurant below has great food-great prices. Friendly owner.
Another good restaurant 1/2 block away.
The accommodation is in a quieter part of Sultanahmet. It feels very neighbourly. There is a cafe downstairs where breakfast is served. Both the hotel and the cafe people are very kind and welcoming. I really liked this hotel. It is very clean, charming and comfortable.
The location of Byzas hotel is perfect, only 10 min.walk to Blue mosque and Aya Sofia. Turkish breakfast is good and the room is cleaned every day, clean towells. If you don't want luxery it is a perfect hotel for city trip Istanbul. You can pay in euro!.
Overall, it was very nice accommodation, all places near by. Manager is very very helpful, he adjusted lot of things for us like rescheduling of check in check out date, booking airport shuttle, changing room as per our convenience etc.
very nice hotel, good location, and good breakfast, the peaple there are very nice and helpful, the room size was as they mentioned on letsbookhotel.com,the BIM market is very close and vey close to the sea.
It was clean and in a quiet location only 10 mins from main sights. It has everything required for a pleasant stay in Istanbul and by Turkish standards room is quite large.
Very friendly staff, good localization, no so touristic prices (restaurants, laundry, barber), good indications of places to go and eat, clean room.
The hotel is really good, the staff very friendly. There are many
restaurants close to the place and all the touristic things. I
recommend it!.
Clear safe family hotel. i don't fear to leave my netbook and tablet pc without safe. and no one took one dollar abandoned on the table.
Friendly staff, huge breakfast, very good position in sulthanamet close to main interesting monuments. Hood price.
Localization is perfect: a few blocks from everything you want to see in Istanbul.
Friendly and helpfull staff.
Staying in the most historical neighborhood of Istanbul (Sultan Ahmet) . Hospitality and friendship of staff.
Cleaning every day, good food, very close to the tourist objectives, friendly staff.
It was a family run business and they were all extremely helpful and friendly.
Clean rooms, good location, friendly people, breakfast included.
I like a location of this hotel and good breakfasts. Thank you!.
Good location,comfortabka room,nice breakfast,good service.
Conditions, positioning, value for money.
Staff was excelent. Frlendly, helpful.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
location.
Location: it was a bit complicated to find but after that the neighborhood was very interesting and we loved the bar just in front of it.
The owner was very nice to us. It was a quiet neighborhood and I felt safe there.
Location.friendly.
The small double room we booked had only one small shelf for unpacking. One of us had to operate out of suitcase on floor .Inconvenient. We were there 2 nights. Small table in room but only 1 chair. Bed uncomfortable.
I liked everything.
The hotel is hard to find, there is no sign with the hotel name!.
There are few issues like one of the servant over there is half mad and did'nt know basic english also, he has thrown our luggage bag into the dustbin and we have lost it, we have kept Galata Tower poster and our slippers in that. So, beware if you book this hotel.
It is difficult to find as has no sign.
Reception is in travel agency next door which not open all day.
The street is a little bit narrow and there are many men on it that
look a lot for women, so as I was alone, I didn't go out at night
because of this.
Breakfast was no so good, as can be.
Should have a mini-bar.
Thin walls.
A bed-side light and a bath mat would have made the room more convenient.
nothing.
Noisy sometimes.
Unstable hot water temperature.
bathroom.
The room was very small and could have been designed and equipped more carefully, shower was leaking on the bathroom floor.
Not 24-hour reception, so on the day we checked out, we could not leave our luggages there (we left at 7:30am). It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Blue Mosque (sounds closeby, but not without a few turns). The place was not easy to find. A very nice passerby took us there.
No elevator and the staircase was narrow (imagine carrying suitcase up the narrow stairs with a 90 degree turn).
For same price found a newer.more modern hotel close by.
