I liked the friendly atmosphere. The owner Angela is very helpful, will provide you with a map, tell you what to see and how to get there, will call to ask about buses' times or organize an airport transfer if you need it. The breakfast is great! There's a big variety of the usual Turkish breakfast foods to choose from, cereals, but you will also find some of the local specialties, which are pretty tasty, plus fresh cakes made by Angela herself. I also appreciated the kettle and handful of vari.

I highly recommend it, even if just pa. We had an amazing time at Tashkonak. The owner Angela was always happy to help with booking excursions or giving you directions to prime hiking locations or whatever adventure you are looking for that day. She even upgraded our room to a cave suite at no extra charge. The rooftop terrace has a beautiful view and was a great place to have a wonderful breakfast, relax and start your day. You are a just quick walk into town and the cave suite was gorgeous. Everything! Angela is a great host and goes out of her way to make you feel at home, and her advice on Goreme and surrounds was extremely useful. She can also book tours and transport for you. We loved the yummy breakfast on the terrace, the comfy lounge area, rooms are serviced daily, and are very comfortable and warm. The view from the terrace is Amazing. We also enjoyed a couple of very nice meals at Fat Boys Cafe downtown. Our stay at Tashkonak was truly relaxing. The owner Angela is very helpful and friendly. We reached the connecting bus station (Nevshehir - half hour drive from Goreme) at almost 10pm and it was pitch dark and totally secluded. But Angela was so kind that she arranged for someone to pick us up from there! The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre. Angela and Yilmaz are great hosts and make you feel at home. We had a very warm reception from them upon our arrival. It made for a very comfortable, easy going portion of our trip. They organized our time in Cappadocia and were extremely helpful and approachable. The breakfasts are amazing. We highly recommend this hotel. Aside from the fact that Cappadocia is one of the most amazing places I've been to, the staff of this hotel is so friendly and nice. The room is very big even for me. The price is so affordable and the owner even gave me a discount! The breakfast is very delicious as well. The hotel is also close to the town. The hotel had friendly and helpful staff. The view from the hotel common areas was stunning and probably one of the best views obtainable in Goreme. Our room had a good view and was comfortable. Breakfasts were varied and tasty. Overall, our stay at the hotel was extremely enjoyable. We loved our stay at Taskonak. It is a beautifully unique lodge with great rooms, outdoor seating/views, and most of all welcoming hosts. The shower did not work properly and I had no desire to shower, and it was quite noisy outside my room from some machinery that every few minutes made a loud noise. No complaints. Nothing. Everything was just perfect. nothing. what?!. No concerns. nothing. Breakfast could be better. Room was a bit small, short on space. Water to that section of town was shut off on our last day there. Nothing. Bath. Pillows.
