Great location to discover the town and it's sino-portugese architecture in particular. Knowledgeable staff, extremely helpful and polite. Nice little café in the hotel and outdoor pool. Good connection from the airport - safe driver, modern car. Very clean. Comfy bed. Nice entrance area with umbrellas provided for the rains and a selection of newspapers and magazines beside sofas. Free WiFi.
all reviews » Very friendly accomodating staff. I needed to arrange for a ferry out the next morning & mentioned it to them in an email & when I arrived they had it all arranged for me. Also I arrived early in the day - they held my bag for me till my room was ready and gave me a map and a quick run down on what there was to see & do in the area. The owner personally showed interest in making us comfortable. She recomended some good places to eat and visit and also explained us the right prices to pay. The location is great for elderly couples as it is in walking distance from the Old portugese areas. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Keep up the good work!. The family have successfully created an elegant hotel in Spanish style, which perfectly fits in to the best of Phuket Town's sino-portuguese style. The courtyard and staircase are especially beautiful. The manager gave good restaurant ideas and organised an island trip which perfectly met our needs. Right in the middle of old town, lovely hotel, exceptional value for money. Lady that was new on front of house was such a lovely helpful person. Always happy to help and answer any questions - she was training at the time but will be an assett to the team. Great staff, great hotel - need I say more. We only stayed about 12hs there since we needed to sleep one night at phuket before taking a flight but it was enough to see that the staff is super-friendly and helped us with our needs. Old Town Phuket is a good place to stay at. No typical hustle and bustle like Patong Beach but nice small shops, galleries and restaurants. The manager was very helpful in the morning as we had some trouble with a pick-up service. This small hotel reminded me of a lovely European guest house only the room was much larger. The staff was so friendly & hotel was very clean & comfortable. Location in town allowed for walking to explore. I would definitely recommend this hotel & would stay there again. Sporadic noise from the motorbikes passing on the road in front of our front of hotel room but that noise is ubiquitous in Phuket and part of its quirky Asian charm: 2 stroke motorbikes. This hotel is just too far from the beaches and you need to hire a car for all the days if you need to visit the beaches, which is basically why someone would vist a place like Phuket.We hired a car for all the days, but had to struggle for parking as it is a public road parking. Also there is no room service, restaraunt or even breakfast. I would not stay here again for sure purely based on the poor location. Breakfast service needs attention... at 7.30 the staff are not ready. Also it would be good repaint some of the green floors which are now worn; and to reactivate the lift. Phuket town is not so nice but for a couple of days it's ok. There is no elevator for guests. There is one but just for the purpose of carrying luggage at check-in/check-out. And that's about it. This was an overnite stay before I continued to Phi Phi. If you plan to stay in Phuket, this is not close to the beaches & action. Nothing. Nothing!. Always could use some more lighting in the bathroom over the mirror area We somehow thought we could get breakfast in the hotel, but unfortunately it wasn't offered. The hotel could use a much better map to help guide guests to their recommended restaurants. that I didnt speak the language. the water pressure. There are three floors and no lift, so if you had mobility problems that may be an issue. Breakfast package is not offered by the hotel. Nothing. We stayed a short time on our way to koh yao, but i would say again great choice. The noise from the street (bearable though). The hot water for showers,was not good. Everyone had to climb stairs to rooms, elevators for baggage only. Stairs painted a green hard see at night. Not enoughlighting going up down stairs at night. No lift so had to walk up 2 flights of stairs! No real shopping around the place. We thought that hotel was going to located better, near to the beach, but it was located so far and we had to take a bus to get the beach (around1 hour). Also, in the old town there are not many thing to do. It depends what you want to see and to do to Puket. Phuket town isn't much. A few nice buildings. Taxis and tuk tuks are a rip off. Lift was in a poor condition. no complaints. Nothing. We expected more of it from the pictures. The room was cute but small, the walls and curtains were dirty but the rest was clean. The pool almost doesn't count really. Looks cool compared to others though. But the region has several other old houses being transformed in small boutique hotels. The room was did not live up advertised characteristics on the letsbookhotel.com website: it was smaller, partly furnished, did not contain wooden parquetry floors, and there were problems with poorly functioning appliances and hot water temperature control. The attempts to give a Spanish feel to the place are half-done, and feel out of place with the external and internal surrounds. That there are only a few restaurants/bars to go at night. The neighbourhood is kind of dead at night. Lady at the reception was extremely slow and helpless with the taxi. I had to be at the airport at 11 and she suggested to leave at 8,30....(it takes 40 min to get their). Our baggage was not brought at the agreed time, had to remind. Otherwise everyone was friendly and nice, much better then in phi phi and other parts of phuket). The lift is too old. Nothing special, but for sure is not a 4stars hotel. far to expensive for what it offers, there are better boutique hotels including breakfast just around the corner. Safe not fixed to anything and could be taken out of room, needed fixing. Bathroom drain clogged up and shower wouldnt drain away. Not very clean. Noisy. Nothing at all the hotel is not worth to stay very far poor location not clean name of a few.
