I am a regular guest at the Dusit Thani but this was the first time I booked a Club room and I shall certainly do this again on my next visit. It was all quite impressive. I like the pool areas where we had lunch daily and the staff are very helpful and friendy. The space - the public areas were very spacious and the swimming pools were a generous size. Having direct access to the beach without having to cross the busy road was a definite plus. The Club Rooms add good value to the hotel experience.

I find the hotels ambiance, staff and location excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were greet at the entrance and guided us to the check-in desk. the ocean view was incredible, the pools were great, location to boardwalk-perfect. - Hospitable and well-trained staff - wonderful panoramic scenery of Pattaya Bay. The pictures suggest it is further out of Pattaya than it really is. Having said that other hotels are on the main road so would be even noisier. When corporate programs are going on they have their boards all over the place spoiling the look of the hotel. Nothing at all!!!. A bit far from more happening area... needed taxi to go there. Hilton would my first preference for next trip because of location and vibrant shopping mall beside it. Nothing at all!. It was disapointing that my stay was not longer. We booked for a sea view room but given a room with half the view blocked by the trees. The breakfast a bit too pricey. no fan in bathroom,, makes mirror fog up when shower. - Insufficient facility for wheelchair I.E. incline is too slope. Would have preferred a select restaurant, only buffet and Chinese available. The bar stools not comfortable, too small seat. The price of the Laundry. Had Laundry done 2 times, T'Shirts, Shorts and Underware. about 24 items total and it was over $100.00 US. That really blew me away. Way out of line on Pricing. A little expensive. And the bathrooms are very basic. Nothing really, perharps breakfast is very expensive but then, you can always have it somewhere else. Some information not clear. The carpet in room looked soiled. Nothing. A lady that works in 8th floor reception. the building is outdated. Floor-ceiling is much lower, compared to the newly built hotel. The Breakfast is terrible, in both quality & variety. Though service is good. clean cost to room old furniture salt water of swimming pool. Need deep room's renovation, 20 years old style hotel. this is not worth a penny based on the room price. need to wait more then an hour before i can get in my room. very small room and bad view compare with the same class hotel, i can pay less and get a bigger room, and nicer room. another annoying issue that their always talk so loud and the wall is really thin.. so no privacy left. never gonna be in this hotel again. it's my worst nightmare. for the record, i paid usd 200 per night.
