The location was great for us, away from the very busy resort but only a 15 minute walk to the beach. Bit scruffy but much more real Thai than Patong beach. Was great to have the swimming pool and sunbeds. The staff were nice and very helpful. Everything - loved this place. Would return without a doubt. Close to Patong beach but far enough away to have a peaceful nights sleep. Pool is a great addition! Food is delicious here too, and so unbelievably cheap! Stay here!!.
all reviews » It was a great clean place and was just so relaxing which is just what we needed. It was very close to shops and food and the staff were very helpful when it came to advise and help. Iñigo (the owner) and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Very cheap. Really comfortable and big rooms with A/C and free wi-fi. Nice swimming pool. It had good rooms, daily room service, helpful and friendly staff, and was close to 24 hour shops and high quality restaurants. Nice management and personal.Good food in the restaurant connected to the guesthouse.Decent prices. The staff here were very friendly. It was a good big room with a balcony overlooking the pool. There's some good cafes around. It wasnt too far from main strip- lots of places to eat along the road - wifi and air con in guest house. I wasn't overly impressed with anything. It was sufficient for budget accommodation. Location was ok- but on a very, very busy street. The rooms are very basic but clean and fine if you're not expecting too much for the money. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach which can be a bit hilly in parts, and can seem longer if it's really hot. This didn't deter us though, small price to pay for a great place. Plus there are cabs everywhere. was abit far from the beachfront, the road(Nanai) was somewhat dangerous in regards to traffic, the hotel restaurant was lacking in regards to quality food. There weren't many sun loungers around the pool. We didn't like that the door into our room was around the back of the building and we noticed that the bottom part of some of the doors were boarded over. Not sure if someone was trying to kick them in or what happened there. Because of the doors being at the back we didn't feel too safe going in at night. a bit far from the Beach - i guess 20 - 25 minutes one way. Quite far from the beach, need to rent a bike to go. The restaurant in the hotel many times not woking. Lack of safety- receptionist warned us to ensure we lock and padlock our room door- also a 'wanted' poster of a man hanging in reception did not ease us. We were two girls traveling, meant to stay two nights but left after one- stayed awake all night due to uneasy feeling - air con in room extremely noisy - reception lack of English and could not give us directions of how to get to main strip - will never go back to patong based solely on our experience here. The beds were horrible. The air con didn't have cold air and we were not allowed to change the settings to make it cold. We booked a room with a pool view but was given a room right up the top and to the far left. We witnessed a lot of the other guests arriving with and then saying goodbye to their thai prostitutes, which I simply could have done without seeing. I booked for the swimming pool- it was broken for that singular day. The room door appeared to have been kicked in (severely damaged), room was nothing like the pictures.(Top floor accomadations in older wing?).
