Free, fast and fuss-free wifi in rooms as well as lobby, pantry area has biscuits and coffee/tea/juices/water 24hrs round, great location; mere minutes walk to Patong beach without the exorbitant beachfront prices, right beside convenience stores, push cart food stalls and clean massage places. Rooms were big and clean, bed was comfortable, toilet was simple but sufficient and a hairdryer was provided. TV was big although not many channels available, although we spotted a DVD player that we did.
all reviews » Amazing Hotel. Room and hotel lobby is excellently designed for comfort. Free Wifi and Breakfast! Hotel was very close walking distance to everything....Patong Beach, Bars, Shopping, even Hospital. Lobby design was unique and had games on table to play. We spent every evening playing games and having free cappucino from the coffee machine. Staff were friendly and there was this room service lady who works during the day i forgot her name but she was very helpful and always treated us like a fam. Really impressed with this hotel. In the centre of Patong, close to the bars and shopping, but you wouldn't really know it. Stayed in a POPs room on the 5th floor, and it was great with a small balcony to sit on to look at the world going by. Some peopl may find the fact the hotel has just concrete floor. Freindly Staff and perfect. . Very very clean,very close to the beach and the staff is very freindly. We had a wonderful time in The Album Hotel. Chic&Cool Hotel ,clean room, and reasonable prices and the friendliest staff willing to help you at any time ... The hotel is only 5 minutes from the beach and very close to patong shopping center. . Very very clean and neat hotel. Room is comfortable and very well-designed. The pool on the roof top looks nice too. Most stuffs are friendly and helpful. They offer free bottled water, juice, coffee and tea. A/C works well. Have a safe in the closet. Definitely an idea place to stay if you don't have a big budget. The staff were wonderful & couldn't have been more helpful. Great location as just a few minutes walk to the beach. Room was well equipped with complimentary use of beach towels, bag & umbrellas!. Excellent hotel, very freindly staff, clean, chic and cool design, perfect place that never been at patong beach. only 5 minute walk, you can get everything that you need - beach front, shopping center, seafood restaurant, night life on the Bangla Road. I will come back again 100% sure. the room is good , comfertable. Location Cleanliness Comfort. - Convenient location - roof dipping pool. Location. Having no carpeting has its good and bad. Good in that I don't have to wonder how clean/dirty the carpet is, bad in that I ended up walking barefooted over a very sandy floor despite leaving our footwear at the door. Perhaps a floormat might help at the front door?. Sing a Song from school at 8:00 am will disturb you 5 minute on every morning. it is obvious a private hotel(more like an inn) and the hotel is just one small six-floor building, which I was not aware of when I did the booking. And it is a 5-10 minutes walk from the beach. You don't feel like living near the sea. And it would be better if they offer Thai style breakfast. This hotel is in the centre of Patong so expect noise! It is next to a school so at 7.45-8.00ish every morning there is loud talking over speakers and music. Lots of traffic & people noise should be expected. We slept brilliantly though so not really a complaint, just a warning. There wasn't anything major. If I had to be picky our room didnt have a view of the street, just a roof and concrete building beside us. can be noisy at night,small issue. wish the pool can be bit larger. Very noisy hotel on main road. Nothing. noises , sound-proof is no so good. - Leaking ceiling with water dripping onto floor in the room - flatscreen TV which sometimes does not work - infestation of ants in the room - internet WiFi often does not work in the room - some front desk attitudes which are unhelpful - noisy from traffic. There's ants on the bed & rooms. Lots of mosquito in the room @ room 401 breakfast variety is limited. Air-con is not functioning @ 16deg - air was strong/stuffy @ room 301 & 504 Swimming pool is the worst that I have seen. the water was cloudy with algae (it's seem to me the sewerage water). Staff was not as friendly as we had encountered in our hotel. Location is too close to main road for good night sleep.
