the hotel was along the seaside and not far from the Samet Pier, It locate right at the end of the main beach, next to the hotel and a few restaurant along seaside which can enjoy a nice seafood dinner on Beach. The swimming pool is small but I think guest are mainly to the beach. the room is clean and big enough for 3-4 people. the staff is nice and helpful. The room was very nice and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and spoke very good English. Additionally it has a wonderful pool and above all the breakfast was AWESOME! It's in a nice quiet spot away from the nightlife.
all reviews » The resort is set back from the beach, that way you are not disturbed by the beach club that plays music into the late night. There is a nice pool, the bathroom is big and the beds are comfortable. Nice complex with several small buildings gives it at intimate, but not lonely feeling. Ok service and staff. Good breakfast. This is definitely nice for resting and such but if you are more interested in nightlife stuff it may not be the best fit, though it is still certainly do-able with a bit of a walk. Slow staff in cleaning up the room. No sea view, but this was already clear when I booked. Just be aware of that in case you need it. To few poolbeds, but the beach is the place to be anyways. The small river beside the 1min walk to the beach looked dirty (i'm pretty sure it's mud, not sewer). Your not goiimg to hang out here either, so its not a real problem. Wifi did work but was pretty bad. That I. Get sick and now are in hospital. Could only stay in room. Our romantic trip without children got lost. (Nothing to do about hotel). The pillows were very thick and hard which was a shame because the bed and the rest of the room was quite luxurious. Orange juice really needed to be real fruit juice at breakfast and not orange squash. Other than that, the resort is lovely. We have been before and would go again. No hotel beach facilities, deck chairs belong to adjacent hotel & charge for the use of. Access to beach adjacent to very stagnant waterway. There is a sewage next to the 50 meter path to go down to the beach. The sewage is pretty wide, approx 2 meter. This is the biggest downside of this resort and we could absolutely not understand why they don't cover it. The people working in the surrounding restaurants are very unfriendly. Very surprising for Thailand. asked for tea bags for my wife as she is unable to drink coffee. Told only coffee given on hospitality tray. In ALL my travels around the world i have NEVER been told this before. I was VERY dissapointed. Wi-fi only worked in lobby. Room had a smell to it. Not sun by the pool at any time of the day. Need chair beach , they don't have and we must pay extra et other hotel. Nothing. The rooms, like all in Samet, are vastly overpriced for what they are. 3,500 per night is hard to justify given the size of the rooms, and low quality of fixtures and fittings (e.g. taps, shower, toilet, etc). The restaurant is not really their restaurant; they order the food from jeps bungalows, which causes delays. Staff are pleasant if a little unattentive/bored. The breakfast was ok, mostly because they don't have enough space for everyone. Sharing tables at the morning. hotel was not beachfront. The aircondition of the rooms was very, very loud - it was not ok!!!. food. - No Wifi signal in my room(1109) - No reception from DTAC at all(been cut out from the world for few days while i was there) - The bar closed to early while it should be a happy hour so i could not order any cocktails - The Breakfast was very poor selection. Booking with Amex but unable to use on arrival Having to pay in arrival. Service was poor and unfriendly Staff untrusting Accused erroneously of using mini bar and chased to pay. 1)Next to the hotel was full of garbage.there was no road only mud at the island.2)At the beach in front of the hotel were so many watersports and waves that you couldn't swim.Many dogs at the beach and dirty restaurants.3)Very expensive no value for money!very small room.We broke a shower gel bootle and charged us 7 euro!!. too far from the port,big inside but just so so, nothing more than I paid for. Not enough seats at the pool (ie 8 chair for 50 rooms) Room smells cigarette 1h30 to have 2 drinks and a cake delivered at the pool Average breakfast ...
