We were worried about the smell from the garbage because we have read previous reviews but fortunately the smell was not so bad. In fact, Koh Lipe is so small and the garbage place is in the middle of the island so the smell depends on the wind. You can smell the waste in every resort, even the 5 star. Opposite the bungalows you have a building going which can be very noisy but if you wake up in the morning and go to the beach it’s ok. It is just not suitable for people who like spending time i.
