1. Excellent location, right on the beach, lots of restaurants close to the hotel. FantaSea show is only 5 minutes walk away. 2. Excellent and very (!!!) helpful receptionist even though available only until 7pm. (helped us with the change of the tickets, taxi e t.c.) Very good English, too. 3. Even though there is no breakfast area, breakfasts are available as part of room service, the price is quite low - also lots of breakfasts available at the restaurants on the beach nearby at the price.
all reviews » Right on the beach. Quiet, family friendly beach with excellent food and good swimming. Very nice hotel with large, clean and well-equiped room, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff (including free dvd rental) and great pool. Very easy to find food to cook (E.G. 7-11 is a short walk along the beach). 5 minutes walk to Phuket FantaSea :-). These apartments are right on the beach with their own pool. It is not an overcrowded beach but tucked away but has plenty of places to eat on the beach and grocery stores close for supplies. We stayed in a studio room which was clean and very comfortable, air conditioning. We would definitely stay there again. Even in a friendly Thailand hotel managers exceeded all expectations! We lived as a family. Great hotel for families. Wonderful location on the beach. Near a lot of nice cafes. Friendly stuff, which is real cares for the guests. Clean and comfortable. Thanks for our rest. very close to the beach very big appartment very comfortable mattrases great pool (not salt water like some people wrote) everything you need ( beach ,massage, restaurants) is at your doorstep not too crowded beach the beach is clean inside the water and outside. Amazing staff. One even took me to 7eleven with his motorbike. Somehow all the quests get very quickly in the mood that they are friends or almost family members. You can leave your purse at the pool an surely you get it back. I wll come back. Pleasant place that's right on the beach. It's just a service apartment but staff onsite were very helpful; and provided frequent cleaning services and change of towels. We really liked the spacious apartment and the proximity to the beach and services. Fantasic quiet location adjacent to the beachfront. No downsides, if I come to Phuket again, I would definitely stay at this hotel. Not the fault of the hotel, but taxis / public transport in Phuket is terrible. 700-800 Baht (£14-£16) each way to go from Kamala to the airport, or to Phuket town or other beaches. We are very pleased we chose Kamala beach as it is a nice beach to spend a week. However, Phuket transport makes you feel trapped in one location (I felt sorry for people who are stuck in Patong!). Ended up exploring the island via a 1-day island tour, which was great (details and booking via the hotel). I liked everything and would come back again. Bit slippery pool area. Popular among Scandinavian families, for some reason.. and some days the pool is taken over by annoying screaming kids. May not be ideal for couples hoping for the idyllic island life. very thin walls, no soundproof at all. We did not have hot water during our 5 night stay. We pointed it out after 2 days, but it did not get fixed. Cold shower on the last morning, no spare toilet paper.
