Everything was excellent. Horizon Club was well worth the little extra as you get so much more for your money . Staff were so friendly. Even the British GM took the time to have a chat with us on a couple of occasions. Minor quirks were attended to instantly. The Horizon Staff were incredibly helpful about local information and tours as well as the hotel facilities. Also the recreation staff. An example was that one day after a heavy day walking around temples and looking forward to a nice rela.
all reviews » The great care that the staff extended to my husband and myself. Nothing was too much trouble for them. As we were elderly it was sometimes a little difficult for us but all the staff were unfailingly kind and did not make us feel that we were nuisances. My highest praise for all of them. The staff were very courteous and always helpful. The rooms and bathroom was very clean and plenty of space. A good selection of television and film channels. The seafood night in the buffet restaurant is very popular.We stayed in executive suite. Fantastic hotel, good facility incl rooms, pool & staff. Location just near night bazaar & markets. Only comments I would make , and this is more as a suggestion for future consideration, was that our first room was immediately below the Horizon lounge and we heard noises early morning as they were preparing breakfast. Maybe some additional sound deadening on the ceiling or floor above could be considered. Also the access card was sometimes a bit tempormental.. Nothing !!!!!. Not enough computers in internet area of executive lounge (only 2). Business centre too expensive, 90 baht for 15 minutes. A la carte meals poor quality and international buffet just acceptable standard. Too many noisy children in all areas of the hotel, including hogging of the internet to play games. Had to leave. Breakfast small variety on the buffet and the same for the Happy Hour. none. inconsistent levels of service, poor room service, breakfast not included in room rate. The room had problems with AC, internet and 3 out of four times we found cockroaches. The restaurant is too big and service is slow.
