As frequent Thailand travellers we were deeply impressed by the friendliness of the manager and the stuff running Khanom Sunrise Beach Resort. We really recommend this place to everbody who likes a beautiful and unspoilt Thailand. At Khanom Beach Resort you meet also Thai and Western people who really respect each other. The people living in this area can be compared to the Thai people we got to know when we travelled to Koh Samui the first time in 1979.

Excellent cleanliness of the resort/rooms every day fresh fruit in
the fridge staff- very helpful and friendly Khanom Sunrise is right at
the beach great authentic thai food.

This is our second stay at this resort the first when it was just
opened.a few years ago. The bungalows are nice, lovely pool and
restaurant on the beach.It is value for money with free wifi and
tea/coffee making facilities and right on the beach.You do need
either a car or bike to get about the area of Khanom.
Ok price, food standard almost as average, breakfast need a lot of improve.
There is broken glass on the beach but I guess it is in most places
in Thailand.
The housekeeping staff have to be more careful. Bathrooms are not
clean,taps,sinks not cleaned properly. The mirror was dirty when we
moved in for our 2day stay and was not cleaned at all. Blinds need to be
taken down and cleaned.Small things to bring the place up to standard
and I hope they do as we would like to go back.
smell like shit from the compost everywhere when arrival and keep it on untill some rain wash it away at night. The way of cleaning the room shuld be improve in the hygiene way. by the way the location on the map is wrong.
