The hotel is Very nice.Not knowing anything about the layout of Zurich, I chose to be on thelake in close walking distance to the old town area. This location isnice because of the lake view, but if you prefer the cobblestone streetsand small alleys of the more touristy areas, you may want to choose themore northern end of Lake Zurich. Very good location with stunning view of the Zurich lake. Short walk to the opera house. Hotel staff very attentive. Got upgrated to the Junior Suite upon arrival. Great Facilities. Good value. The beds (the mattresses) were rather hard.At least TV news in English would have been an advantage as ALL TV was in German. No tea/coffee making kit in the room. We were surprised not to have coffee or coffee making more easily available. gym facilities poor ,no wifi communication. Roomsize for given categorie rather small, no possibility to hangclothes or towels exept for the cupboards. Fitness room too small. yes the extra charge it was 620 and they took 680,coz they told me that u have now lake view but that was orady mentioned. Need to evacuate breakfast room at 10:00 because it is shared with the restaurant.My room were checked by the maid 4-5 diffrent times per day, every day!!!!!.

From the Zurich main train station by public transport (2 km):
- Take tram no 4 direction Tiefenbrunn to the Kreuzstraße stop.
- 2 minutes' walk down to the lake.
Alternative route:
- Take the S-Bahn train to Stadelhofen
- 5 minutes' walk to the hotel

From the Zurich airport by public transport:
Every 10 to 15 minutes there are S-Bahn trains leaving from the airport for the main station or directly going to the Stadelhofen stop.
- At the main station change to another S-Bahn to Stadelhofen.
- 5 minutes' walk to the hotel
