  really friendly, excellent value for money, clean nice room, tv with lots of British channels. Breakfast only 5.50 chf - bargain of the century and very good - fresh fruit, ham, cheese, fresh bread and croissants - As good as last time.   This was the best little chalet my husband and I have ever stayed at! We enjoyed this place more than a 5 star hotel. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon to ski Verbier and were so happy with the place and the service. The owner didn't know any English, but that didn't affect our stay at all! He was so friendly and sweet and accommodating... what people say » . The room was incredible, cozy and clean.   This is an outstanding little pearl of a small family-run mountain hotel, that we have had the pleasure of visiting for the second time. The service from the minute you check in to the moment you leave is of a very high standard and extremely personalised. You are greeted as a friend rather than a customer. And the views from most rooms and balconies are to die f - The lady who helped us at check-in, dinner, breakfast, and check-out was the most friendly person we met on our 2-week trip.   Was indeed a splendid place to stay! Built in the 1930's, this building would certainly have been the grand dame in her day. The hotel staff were friendly, and we loved the olde worlde charm.   My stay here was enjoyable. I had made the booking a few hours earlier which apparently hadn't come through on the hotel's end, but after a few minutes of confusion it was no problem. Depending on your room, there's a great view out over the lake.
