The small Hotel Lötschberg, run by the owners, enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Interlaken, only a 3-minute walk from the Interlaken West Train Station. Hotel Lötschberg offers free WiFi in all rooms, free tea and coffee around the clock, free use of bicycles, and free use of the microwave and the fridge. Washing, drying and ironing facilities are available at an additional cost. Every room has an en-suite bathroom and cable TV. Hairdryers, portable fans and alarm clocks can be ordered at the front desk. All rooms are very quiet and have a view to the surrounding mountains. The apartments are located in the annex building right next to the Hotel Lötschberg and feature a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom including a hairdryer. Towels and linen are provided and towels are changed after every third night. Children can play on the school yard and football field across the road. Children's playgrounds are close by.

The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to the train station and the big Migros store which had a good restaurant. It was nice to have laundry facilities.Breakfast was very good, especially the bread and cheese. Hotel Lotschberg's staff and vicinity were just what we needed to revitalize ourselves after a tiring journey.

Hotel information details

n 1906 Fritz's great-great-grandfather Fritz has built the Hotel at Mainstreet. Now the Hotel is located in a very quiet street, 2 minutes walk from Interlaken West Station, boat station (Lake Thun) and center of town. We offer free parking.
Children are welcome. For families we suggest the familiy rooms with extrabeds or bunkbeds. Baby-carriage, cots etc. can be used for free if available. Your kids can play on the school yard and soccer field across the road. Children's playgrounds are close by.

Important information to guests

Please inform Hotel Lötschberg about the number of persons (including children) the room is booked for, and about the age of the children. Please note that in case of cancellation of bookings of more than 1 room, the fees stated in the cancellation policy apply per room.

Room information details

Hotel Lötschberg has 19 rooms in different sizes. All rooms have been newly furnished and renovated during the last years. Every room has shower/toilet or bathroom/toilet and cable TV. Hairdryer and alarm clock can be ordered at the frontdesk. The attic rooms, built in 1997, are non-smoking. All rooms are very quiet and have a view to the surrounding mountains. Also enjoy our sundeck.

Extra beds can only be booked for the Superior Double Room

Travelling information

By train from Berne or Brig - Spiez. Walking from the train station West Cross the mainroad and follow it to the right. At Cafe Runft cross the supermarket square and walk along the Migros building on the left side (Bernastrasse). At the next corner you see the hotel to your left. Watch out for a big wallpainting with light at night. By train from Lucerne (final station Interlaken Ost) Take the connecting train or bus to Interlaken West and follow the walking instructions above.

One older child or adult is charged CHF 35 per night and person in an extra bed.
