The owners were very friendly and helpful in every way. We were picked up at the train station by car which was a big plus for finding the house. We had a small apt which allowed us to cook and thus shop in the local grocery store which was a fun and interesting experience. Were there on Easter Sunday and when I opened our door that morning there was an adorable Easter basket sitting there with swiss candy, colored eggs and the cuties rolls in the shape of bunnies! We would definately stay ther.
all reviews » Excellent help from the owners. We went to a local ski park in the morning after checkout. And then had to rush to catch the train in the afternoon. The owners, very helpfully he brought our 2 big suitcases with 2 smaller cabin bags to both train stations. This is great service indeed and beyond expectations. The newly renovated room has a nice view facing the Harder Kulm. The garden was nicely planted with beautiful flowers. The environment was nice and quiet but was only 5 mins' walk from the Train station and the nearby town center. Friendliness of the staff and the information provided by them regarding local attractions. Washing and drying available at very reasonable rates and ironing free. Internet also available at a very reasonable rate. Very friendly family run hotel situated in a quiet street. Room was clean and comfortable bed however the furniture is dated. Great place if like us you are on a tight budget. We will be back. I liked the close proximity to the train station and the downtown. I also liked the quiet neighborhood setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. The staff were very helpful providing us with information about local attractions, and even offering a transfer to Interlaken Ost railway station on check out. Location was very convenient. The owner were wonderful,kind,helpful.The rooms are clean.The place a little bite far for big suitcases but they have a pickup service so the far is near.Great ! We missed them. Great location near Interlaken West train station. Location was in Interlaken West. No lift. Breakfast isn't provided, although can be purchased at the Migros cafeteria which is only a short walk away. we were lucky to get the first floor apartment but we had to drag our luggage on the stairs, also the check out time was too early for us. Price is a little bit higher. nothing. Nothing to fault :). This hotel is built in 1906 , since then it was not renovated !! seriously a full urgent renovation should be done now to move this hotel to the 21st century. only 1 hr free wifi provide.
