Large room, very clean, nice view, very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very close to the airport. I called for the shuttle which took us directly to the hotel in less than 5 min. There is a bus stop just 1min away from the hotel which takes you directly to the city center. I just had an excellen^t experience. I did not have time to visit the casino though. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful (despite the fact that I arrived in the middle of the night) and the service is excellent (you even get a free Basle travel pass). Access to the nice, quiet and spacious business centre proved ideal for my needs. The hotel is not on the cheap side, but as it is 1st class throughout, value is outstanding.

The room was very clean, we were close to the airport, and we were given passes to ride on the bus to town. The rooms were very comfortable, also free breakfast. The bedding, I found it very uncomfortable, in that the pillows flattened down to nothing, and I like a soft but full pillow. The Airconditioning was also noisy. The Breakfast was poor ---Free breakfast was not available although I was told it was before --Breakfast restaurant manager was not friendly -I was only given option to take Breakfast for 25 euros --this is very expensive for a breakfast --For the money a good breakfast should be included in the price . . Internet and T did not work. price, especially for the breakfast, to pay 25CHF for 1 slice of bread and a cup of tea is extremely expensive. Casino in the lobby. Matresses, really hard. Not good enough for the hotel's standards.had no wifi connection in my room, as suggested by hotel folder, so had to go down in lobby to have stronger signal....
