Great little place to stay, more like a hostel. Self service breakfast, just help yourself from the fridge (ham and cheese), cereals, yoghurt, bread, coffee maker etc. Cooker available, also a dishwasher. Very helpful staff, a free mobility pass for use on trams and buses, you can even use it to get back to the airport. Large bedroom, ensuite and satelite TV. First of all, it is not a luxury hotel but it is comfortable place , I highly recommend there for your Basel trips.Very nice and warm "home" atmosphere. the silence and the cleanlines. most friendly, delightful owners , home from home. I did like kindness and professionaly and willingnes to help of the staff. The quality of the romm and the bathroom was perfect.Very accommodating, very clean, fresh breakfast, good value!. Friendly staff,good location,clean rooms.Mobility pack which allows you to use trams and buses free, very clean, easy to go city centre. I spent only one night there. It seemed to me a quiet place.Convenient location. Frienly atmosphere.staff friendlieness. Hospitality. the price. Location, cleanliness, kitchen equipment and atmosphere with other guests.Location was close to tram. Clean, comfortable rooms. nice, new room with refrigerator and excellent shower. our stay was good. the staf was very kindly. I did not like that the bathroom was separated from the room.Price is a bit higher but still affordable, in general people in Switzerland dont know English ( except the Owner of hotel -she speaks many languages). Room not very well isolaed with regards to noise. Although single rooms have private bathrooms, you have to walk to the end of the short hall to access it. Would have prefered to have the bathroom in the room, as the double rooms do. A bit difficult to find. No sign on the building. Difficult to find parking.didn't explain it was a serve yourself breakfast. No problem with that, but would be helpul if it was made clear. Not too close to center as far as I could judge. However tram (1) goes directly to SBB main train station. Room cramped; bed against wall; one short pillow; bedspread too narrow.Impossible to contact staff. arrived there at 6pm., no one there, have to wait for 20mins to get in. Charged tax, print out stated that tax etc inclusive of price. staff did not speak english. Not continental breakfast, lots of insects (woodlice, moths, beetles). Everything. The rooms are extremely dirty. We believe they did not clean in the last month. There are many brooken hings in the room.We found old papers from previous guests in the room. The room was sold as a non smoking room, but we found a packet of sigaretts and the room was smelling. The breakfast is very poor, you can doubt about the freshness. There was no toilet paper in the room.
