This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. Service as always was excellent - Susanna at reception was very very helpful and I really felt looked after - the room was lovely too and really clean. I will definitely stay there again. Great friendly staff,lot's of good cervecerias nearby.Easy access tocenter.Good value for money.The receptionists speak fluent English and very courtious.

The location is great, close to the train station, walking distance tomost sites in Valencia. The bathroom is the best, spacious, the showeris great, not as small as some in Madrid. It is safe to walk around inthe evening for a woman traveler as well. It is much more than a two-star hotel.the staff were the freindlist i have ever known at a hotel although little english spoken very handy for metro to airport loveley big bathroom very clean more like a 5 star. the evening meal is in a separate restaurant which was fantastic, food and staff were great and only a short walk from the hotel. The room was immaculate and the staff very friendly. Also located veryclose to the metro. Location. I like that the reception were open 24hours and staff was very nice andkind, you get all help you need and I am realy very saticefied, I willrecommend to everyone this hotel. Villareal is very convenient in its location - some 200m from Angel Guimera metro station. Enabled me to get from and to bothe the airport and Feria Valencia with ease. Bed comfortable. Not much english spoken with reception staff but one lady tried to communicate. Near a subway station or 15 minute walk from the train station. It is located on a main street, but during the night the street has few of traffic during august. 30 minutes walk to the city life places. no public trasportation after 23.00. The staff were very friendly. The room was fairly quiet, mainly because it wasn't street facing. Very close to the metro. Easy access to the Airport. The ensuite was a good size considering it was a small single room.convenient location. value for money, good location. Hotel was very clean. Could not communicate with staff due to language barrier, but they were helpful and tried to assist!. Two of the members of staff were very polite and pleasant.close to the metro station. Little noisy in the mornings as they always are.The hot water was set at a very high temperature which must be dangerous especially for young children. sometimes personnel couldn t understand English. Maybe we as travellers should learn tospeak some Spanish. their was no information as to where the resturant or bar was. The only complaint was with the closed door policy in the lobby. Wasdifficult to come in and out, especially with short trips, having to bebuzzed in all the time. It´s a bit of a walk (20 minutes) from the train station. I would have preferred a more simple room at a lower rate.WiFi internet would have been a nice additional service. Starting breakfast service 30 min earlier would have been helpful for me due to my conference schedule. street outside slightly noisy at times. poor language skills of the personnel, noisyness. No one spoke English (it was OK because my daughter speaks Spanish) but would help; also breakfast not served until 08:00AM....too late.The flashing hoteol sign was outside my window. Breakfast extremely basic (but nice) - I think a deterrent so they don't get many people go to what is a small room. The Ground Floor rooms in the Annex building can prove a little noisy when people come in at night.the room was very small and noisy, the bed was awful. it was'nt as close to what we wnted to see as we thought. Too old look of the room. Having to walk to a restaurant for evening meal, and a poor menuselection. I'm used to have better windows as they've been at Villarreal. But this is typical for countries like Spain.Was woken up at 7am one morning, big argument in the stairs near my room and one of the 4 women involved works at the reception of this hotel. She should have been more reasonable and prevented this very noisy argument. It was too far from the centre of the town, quite a long walk. The bathroom drain smelt, although this is a common problem in Spain.Minimal or no english speaking personnels. Not cooperative on the latecheck out thing. Didn't have the Valencia card although it said on thecard's site they should have it. Not quite up to 3 star quality. Hardly worth having a window there was so little daylight. My curtain remained closed the whole time. A bit further from the heart of the Old City than I would have liked. It seemed excessive having to pay an extra 5 euros a day for the breakfast bar. Saying that I would still stay at this Hotel again.single room rather small and the shower not easy. very basic rooms, staff barely speaks English. Room and lobby very small. Never a 3*. Absolute maximum 2* and that is generous. Facilities were non-existent. Not even a chair to sit on in room. No TV channels in English only German and Spanish. Too numerous to mention!. acoustics, loud, desinformation at check-in desk. The lobby and lift is too small for the amount that we have paid.
