We booked three apartments for a group of friends. The Apartments are absolutely huge, the photos on the website do them no justice they are amazing. The location is so good, right on teh beach and right on the port. No waiting around for taxis which gave us much more time to enjoy our stay. The Plaza Beach club is right on the doorstep which while a little expensive is definitely worth it.
all reviews » I have stayed in Park Plaza numerous times with friends. It's ideally located by the beach on one side and Puerto Banus strip on the other. This makes the place an ideal location for those planning to go to Puerto Banus to have a party weekend / week. Ideal for stag dues or hen nights :-). The apartment was huge. . perfect for 7 girls. .. really enjoyed staying there. . great balcony view. Clean and tidy. . fresh towels every day. Perfect location. No need for taxis... right on the beach a perfect hotel x. Large light appartment. Wonderful to come home and beds made towels changed and all clean and sparkly. Fantastic view of beach and sea. Sunset amazing. Great value will certainly go back this was my 20 th return. The apartment was a luxury one with a huge balcony overlooking the Sea. We were so lucky to have this place as it was within walking distance of all the bars, shops and clubs. I will be returning for sure. Just returned from 5 days in park plaza with 9 other woman we all loved it and felt the location made the trip for us, Great spot looking forward to returning next yr. The staff where very polite especially on reception The apartment was spacious and the price was fantastic. Will defo return again. I liked the location apartments was very spaces very good location a bit dated needs a pool but all in alli would stay again. The location of the apartments was excellent. I was abit concerned about booking the apartments after reviews I had read,but on the whole I was pleasantly surprised.Location fab for the beach and taking in the sites of Puerto Banus. No outside noise could be heard at night even though we were overlooking the street. Excellent location in Puerto Banus. Very central. Apts very big but old. There was not a full set of cutlery There was only one drinking glass There was no kettle There were tears in the fabric on the headboards on the beds The curtains in the bedrooms were not fully hung as the curtain hooks were broken The blinds in the bedroom did not work Cigarette burns on the tables on on the fabric of the sofa. The apartment kitchen was poorly equipped. We did not have enough glasses, crockery or cutlery. There was no kettle, iron or hairdryer, all of which I would expect to find in a self catering apartment. Although the roof terrace was great, there was only 1 chair and 1 lounger, difficult with 4 people. Nothing. Room was a bit outdated, no flatscreen for use of flash drive, also kitchen utilities were very worn. Nothing at all. The lack of glasses. OUr cupboards were not well equipped with glasses etc. Bed was a little hard!. No hair dryer or ironing board facilities Showers could do with being updated. Rooms need a few more appliances, there was 4 of us in the apartment and only 3 sets of cutlery etc. No wifi in the apartment. Bathrooms were in need of refurbishment. A bit old furniture. Lack of kettle, hairdryer. No Parking or 24 Euro per night. Aparments badly in need of modernisation and upgrade in facilities. nothing , everything was great. Very old furnutre. old furture. Decor slightly outdated and started to look tatty. The apartment good have done with a better clean and a like of paint. Apartment was sparse and needs updating . ie broken tiles in the bathroom etc . Unable to use beds on beach without paying Euros 15 per person !. Comfort could be improved, the beds were hard as concrete. The showers were also dated, and kept flooding the bathroom. WIFI in the apartments would be beneficial. Extremely noicy at night difficult to sleep. The air conditioning was not connected to the electricity supply, hence it did not work. The second television had no controls hence it would not work. 2 sun loungers on the balcony but only one set of cushions. 6 chairs around the dining table but only 2 plates. Although the position is good it does mean you have to put up with an awfull lot of noise at night. The car parking is very expensive, the rooms are very dated and the air conditioning didn't work even though they sent an engineer to fix the problem who then told us the airconditioning system is perfect now, it still did not work. I would advise against staying here. Very old..very derty..very unfrendly staff.. the only good thing was the location.. there were couple of better apartments beside it.. Overall: a total waste of money. Staff are rude , not cooperative. The apartment is not clean at all , the towels are dirty , and the furniture are too old. Too much noisy inside the apartment because of the Water in the pipes and air conditioning. We couldn’t stay longer in this hotel and we checked out 1 day earlier but they refused to refund me the 500 euro for one night !!!. The place is bad bad bad!! Over priced Furniture from the 70's that smells. A very old dirty kitchen Bed feels like a rock Everything was horrible, No refunds as well Stay away from that place. We had one room in the hotel (which was OK) and one two BR apartment which was way below standard, smelly, poorly furnished and poorly maintained. After a big hassle they finally gave us a different apartment which was better but still below standard. The building entrance was shoddy & badly rusted. Hallway lights didn't work, etc. letsbookhotel.com stated parking was 15 Euros/day. The hotel insisted on charging us 24. Overall experience with Park Plaza was a major disappointment. Ollie Ake.
