This was my second stay at the Melia, Granada and was very satisfied. Our hair dryer was not working and when reported was rectified immediately, showing attention to detail. Will use this hotel again with our visitors. The position and staff were fantastic and the room was big and very comfortable. central position, valet parking and polite, informative staff. everything, very nice hotel and lovely people.

It was also the least satisfactory. On arrival the first room we were given was a beautifully appointed room but at a sauna like temperature, but there was no way of cooling it. The windows opened onto another adjacent room used as a meeting room (!. I paid for diuble room and got single room , very small and old not clean. Nothing worst 4 star i have ever stayed in. I noticed there were differnet toiletries for differrnet rooms. bar prices very expesive. Rooms a bit small. Since it's within the limited zone of central Granada, you're not supposed to drive there by car between 8 - 22 hours. We had to park far away and carry the luagge there. In the hotel we were informed, that you can actually go there by car and they give the information to police, so you don't get a fine. Such information should be included in your website. There were no complimentary tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom. could not control the room temperature -- too hot. Thin walls. yes I asked for non smoker, I got a smoker , but when I asked to be changed the , rather arrogant reception man , said that there would be a wait, I would have to bring all our bags to the reception, and there may not be a suitable room. Some friends who stayed there before, some weeks earlier than us , also were offered a smoking room , despite requesting a non smopker. A coincidence or what ?. breakfast poor. bad layout and inedible cereals. fruit mostly tinned with very small amounts of fresh. small selection of rolls and bread dry and hard before even toasted. No times shown outside restaurant for breakfast. lets down a very nice hotel. walls are not sound proof at all, loud neighbour speaking on telephone woke us up. See previous comments.Well the room was not as expected for us. It smells the cigarrete and like a cheap parfum all the weekend. The smell was horrible. Moreover the parking lot attendant crash our car againts the parking column. So we will never return to a Melia hotel and we will inform everybody we know to do the same. Bathroom was dirty. Shower was broken. We askedf for a king size and got 2 singles. The walls were so thin it felt like we were sharing our room. The rooms were far to hot.

By Car:
- Leave the motorway at exit 129, signposted Centro Recogidas.
- Continue for about 1.2 km and you will arrive in Granada.
- At the roundabout, take the 6th exit and continue for about 400 metres along Calle Neptuno.
- Turn into Calle Recogidas, then after about 200 metres right again into Calle Angel Ganivet.
- Turn right once more and you will find the Melia Granada at the end of the street.
