What a fantastic view! We chose the apartment for it's location; close to L'Ahambra, Sacromonte and the old town. For the view alone it was worth it. The host, Miguel, is very friendly and helpful. The area is quiet at night once the Flamenco shows finish (they are not so loud to bother you during though). The apartment had a terrace which was perfect to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set over L'Ahambra - there is also a gorgeous little cat that passes by for a chat. All in all,.
all reviews » Incredible view of the Alhambra, ideal location as it is at the same time very close to the centre, a short walk from the Sacromonte area (cave museum, Flamenco shows) and quite central to the Albaysin quarter (the Moorish quarter). The apartments are decorated with taste and contain some really nice artwork. It is reasonably priced. The owner (Miguel) is very friendly and helpful. We went to Granada thinking that the Alhambra will be the highlight of our trip but to be honest, the flat itself ended up being one of the highlights mainly because of the privacy, the view from the flat which is amazing either day or night, the terrace which made breakfast an amazing way to start the day and also Miguel´s hospitality. The location was excellent for access to old town. View -wow. The Alhambra can be seen from bed and the little deck. The host was very friendly, approachable and helpful. It is a very small unit, but with picture windows and interesting design features, that didn't matter. Access up narrow stairs. Miguel met us at the door and even carried my bag up the stairs as they were a bit narrow. Made us feel right at home but didn't intrude at all. The apartment was clean and the view outstanding especially in the morning. Wifi connection was better than expected, no problems at all. We booked the superior apartment and the view to the Alhambra monument is fantastic from there, also the terrace. Lovely hours with a wine and the view to Alhambra are guaranteed at night. The view was amazing. The owner is very helpfull and he managed to provide all our request and gave us full information about the city. The staircase to the apartment is a little difficult to navigate (and not so good if you aren't great with heights). The bathroom and kitchen are practically the same room. The bed is a little on the hard side. Self-catering is quite limited as the kitchen is very basic. The bathroom was tiny and had no extractor fan or window. Finding this place is quite difficult and driving by car to Albaycin is nearly a nightmare ;-). N/A. Lack of the washing machine. Super-tight kitchen. Fine for a few days, but definitely on the cramped side. No grocery stores within walking distance - just a few small neighbourhood minimercados. Somewhat far from the train station - a 9euro cab ride. The bus station is a 30 minute bus ride plus a 15 minute walk away. It could have been warmer but we did visit in January during the cold spell. Miguel has informed us he is addressing this. Not all rooms have acces to wifi and it is not clear which one'S. Same for acces to the terrace. The bed is not comfortable. The bathroom was very small and could have done with a door rather than a curtain. I am talking only about the: Two Bedroom Appartment. There is no View, no Terrac, No Internet. It takes 20 min walking from the old city and 10 min of them is uphill and not easy to reach the appartment. The shower is very small for normal people and cant be used by big or pregnant people.
