Excellent location on Cuitadans, very convenient for sightseeing. Apartment comfortable, great welcome from Hotel Historic staff who brought the key. Easy check-in (I rang the hotel, and they arrived at the apt within 10 mins), and they also booked a taxi to pick us up outside the apartment on our last day. Very good value.

The stairs leading to the apartment could be quite offputting. However, the stairs didn't pose a problem to us. Worth a climb to get to the lovely apartment! A little redecorating would make them quite acceptable (although not suitable for anyone infirm).
Noisey neighbours, plus some noise from the neighbourhood as you're right in the middle of the action. But Girona is not a hectic, crazy town, so this isn't too much of an issue. More annoying was the neighbour upstairs.

The noise from the street at night makes it difficult to sleep but some might say that's part of staying in the city!!.
People upstairs very noisy. The stairs were very bad. They are not safe and the entrance could be very nice with a little work.

the oven did not work and no cleaning towels etc. were available, which one would expect when renting an appartment.
