Good location, good breakfast in attractive restaurant, comfortable room. Our stay was short but the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. friendly staff convenence to railway station. Every aspect of the hotel was excellent. Lovely restaurant, excellent room. Junior suite is very large and well appointed. We only stayed one night so dined in the hotel. The buffet dinner and breakfast were fine, considering we didn't have time to search for alternatives. The main shopping street is a 5 minute walk.

The safe box in the room did not open and there was nobody in the building at the time to fix it, however, this was a minor problem as we stayed only one night.We were not given the option of a double vs twin beds. It was unclear, from the website, that the restaurant and bar were closed Sundays. The choice of food for vegetarians was limited.Staff were not particularily pleasant. Had to pay for wifi. No proper double bed. Had 2 singles pushed together(room was booked as a double). It was out of date, the nylon sheets sparked when we moved, we had twin beds not a double. Not a four star hotel in my opnion!. pretty outdated room but comfortable for one night, pictures on website are of upgraded suites, much more expensive than std rooms .
