What people say
Spot-on location for exploring the narrow streets, bars, restaurants and shops of the pedestrianized old-town. Quirky-yes, comfortable-yes, interesting-definitely (ask to see the different rooms), recommended-yes just be aware that there is no lift and the whole hotel is on the third floor which is no problem if you are in reasonable health. Cant remember her name but the young girl on reception was brilliant, she couldn't do enough for you. Probably not for you if you like more formal type ac. all reviews »
Creative design. Each room had a unique theme. Arty! Location in the
Casco Viejo (old quarter) is charming and romantic. In spite of
difficulties, now that I know where it is and how to get in, I'd go
again in a heart beat.
Impeccably clean and just as shown in website photos. Staff were so friendly, helpful and professional. Great location and value for money. Bed was very comfortable and room was cleaned daily. No complaints whatsoever.
Location is excellent; though there's not a permanent receptionist there were times I found somebody in the front desk very friendly and eager to help; the coffee machine in the little hall is very nice detail too.
You are right in the casco Viejo and you can wander the area to your hearts content also a short stroll from the Gran Via and Guggenheim (15 mins brisk walk). Liked the room and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The location in the heart of the old town. The decor - sublime. Even though there were some downsides, I think they can easily be fixed, and at the price, the hotel was a bargain - and absolutely beautiful.
Cute hotel, unique clean and comfortable. It was a little difficult to find with very small signage but was a great location in the Old Town. Many great restaurants, tapas bars and shopping nearby.
The different designs of the rooms were very unique and also the bed was very comfortable, bathroom nice and modern with lots of room. Brilliant location in the heart of the Casco Viejo old town.
Modern, contemporary design in the centre of the old quarter....Lots of bars & restaurants on your doorstep, with the main shopping streets a pleasant 10 minute walk away.
Beautifully designed rooms and hotel lobby, great location in the middle of the old town near to lots of great restaurants and bars. Very comfortable bed!.
Location is great, but remember to tell taxidriver its in the 'old
town', we were sent to other end of town... Clean, Comfortable and
fairly quiet.
Our room and bathroom both had beautiful decor, including two balconies which overlooked a very lively corner of the old town.
Friendly staff. Individual, interesting design of each room. Excellent location in centre of old town. Great value for money.
Well situated in the old town
Nice people when they are around
Good decoration
Comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
Very interesting and individual decor of the rooms and hotel. Great location in a wonderful city. Comfy bed.
Gorgeous kitsch design features and big comfy room with tv, comfy bed, balcony, lots of light.
The room was beautiful, clean and disigned. The staff very kind. The location is central.
Central location in the old town of Bilbao. Very pleasant and helpful girl in reception.
Very cute, design hotel, just is in the heart of old quarter. Strongly recommended.
Great decor and furniture especially liked the chill out area!.
Location. Beautiful room. Great bars and food at doorstep.
Everything. It`s Perfect. A very original experience.
Zany enjoyable place. Comfortable and well located.
The best place for the price I've ever been to.
Perfect location, cool interior architecture.
location
design quirky
cleam and comfy.
Location, ease of check in/out.
The decoration is awesome!.
everything.
Everything.
Friendly staff who flexibly allowed us to check in earlier as soon as the rooms were ready.
It was beautiful inside and very good value.
Nothing we didn't like, just the front entrance is a bit odd to say the least until you get used to it......I won't spoil the surprise for you lol!!.
No on-site reception staff makes for many complications, especially if
their code lock system is feeling balky. Charming street is pedestrian-
only, and so small that it's name wasn't even on our map. Took 2
policemen and a truck driver to help us locate it. No elevator, so
climbing at least one flight of stairs with your luggage is necessary.
Parking is several blocks away.
I don't remember if it was specified in the website, but the rooms are in the second floor with no lift; in the room I stayed, the corners of the bed were too sharp and I kept scratching my legs very frequently!.
The Pension is a little bit difficult to find because of the layout of the street but persevere and you'll find it.
A bit hard to find - the sign could be bigger. The drain in the shower was clogged so no shower was possible. There is no one on the premises at night - if there were to be a problem and none of the guests spoke Spanish, what to do?.
No breakfast facility and the lack of a permanent reception.
Our taxi driver knew where to go, but could be a little hard to find, if people are walking from the station/ bus terminal.
No elevator. Too much hassle With payment. Hard to get a hold of staff.
Difficult to find.
No front desk service...
Water pressure not enough in the shower.
Difficult to get in to the hotel. The room code was basically left open to the public, so the security was quite low. The showers lacked hot water, just a warm trickle.
Bathroom stank of sewage- the place was immaculate so it was definitely a plumbing issue, but one they need to rectify. At times the smell was almost unbearable. A real shame, as we loved our room otherwise.
They have problem with the toilet system, so we couldnt throw the toilet paper in the wc... how gross! The place has not a reception, so, when we arrived in the evening nobody was there.
Disappointed that having requested a specific room and was told that it had been alocated to me, on arrival I was shown to a completely different room.
there is no sigh of hotel, so it is realy difficult to find it.
The communal entrance adn stairwell but a nice surprise when you get inside.
Nothing.
Little hard to find. Noisy occasionally from internal activity.
Hot water can run out. You can't have bath just after another one.
a bit noisy outside.
No toilet in the hotel apart from in your room.
Everything was nice, just the entrance was a bit getting used to.
nothing.
The location is hard to find but that is expected of a location in the old quarters.
It was difficult to find and looks very unwelcoming outside. There were no staff.
