    Debbie and Gerald could not have done anything more to make our stay so special. We stayed in the White Sands room which we would recommend for the views and access to the beach. Debbie & Gerald were helpful with advice and were keen to ask for our honest opinions on the Pink Lodge and Wilderness in general. Gerald's breakfasts were always a w... what people say » onderful start to the day and laid out to maximise the magnificent views out over the beach. We will definetly return. - A little bit of Paradise. Magnificent views: miles and miles of white beaches and rolling waves from my room. The hosts Debbie and Gerald went out of their way to make me welcome and comfortable. Fresh pomagranite and passion fruit a real treat for breakfast.

    We liked the friendliness of the staff. We stayed the first two days and the last two days of our trip to South Africa and we were upgraded to a suite which was very much appreciated...we had stayed in the hotel five years ago and it was exactly as I remembered it and we will definitely be staying there on our return visit////breakfasts were also ... what people say » super...it should be noted that we travelled with another couple ...mc gettigans...and this review is for all of us - The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful, always smiling, and solicitous without being in your face. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices and value for money; use of the business centre at no extra cost was a godsend - see wi-fi The entrance/lobby very spacious and felt homely. I would definitely stay at the Portswood again

    The Yellowwood Lodge has beautiful gardens and nicely decorated rooms. It is in a quiet location and is a short walk to Knysna and Thesen Island. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning.     Staff at Reception was extremely helpful and friendly. As I was travelling alone, the fact that the room was so close to reception, was great. The lodge is located superbly - close to town, but still with all the lovely views of the mountains (which was covered with snow the next morning)! - everything, lovely stay will recommend it to people, so... what people say » accomodating with early check in, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. breakfast was great, very pleasant stay overall!

    the restaurant was fantastic and the rooms/grounds of the hotel were gorgeous. We were a little worried because we were in the smallest room in the place but it was a lovely room, so no complaints there - The quality of service and efficiency of all teh saftt, very impressive indeed !!!!

    The kindness and help,support of ALL staff. Absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed at including all other " One & Only". we really liked it !!!     The room was huge and had a balcony around that corner that had a great sea view. Quirky decoration and good place to chill out with lots of places to eat nearby.
