  As disabled person i was concerned i would not be able to get around ,the facilities were excellent and very wheelchair friendly the staff and management was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.i thouroghly enjoyed my stay at the makaranga and would recommend it to all especially those that have disab... what people say » lities - The whole place was amazing.   The excellent rate I got through letsbookhotel.com, the spacious, comfortable well-appointed room and bathroom, the lovely old-style feel although the hotel could definately do with a make-over/a bit of freshening-up. - The stay was so pleasant and the staff was always available to help.   We only arrived at the resort at 7pm on date of arrival and we were very tired as we had done Sani Pass before arriving. Our check in was not very welcoming but the staff at the tavern welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. They understood that we were tired and hungry and saw to us quickly. That was exceptional service. It was relax... what people say » ing and pleasing to know that the children were being entertained whilst we were either relaxing by the pool side or during the hikes. We loved going - The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist us and tend to our needs. The facilities were awesome and met our expectations. The resort was easy to find and the security as well as staff made the check in and check out very comfortable and easy.

  We had the most wonderfull appartement we ever had in South Africa. We were staying in number 32? It was Zabia her appartement really beautifull... If we are back next year, we'll definitly be there again!! Thanks for the wonderfull stay! The Hippo's in the backyard, the monkeys, and the wonderfull surroundings... It's on the edge of the village but the place is so small that everything is really near. And it's a short drive to the beach.
