  We were allocated a ground floor room which I was not too happy with, after mentioning it to Nobu at reception she went out of her way to arrange another room and get it ready for us.   I have stayed for over a month, and have extended my stay for two months more. Staff are extremely helpful and kind. clean facilities, comfortable beds, hot and clean showers and toilets, amazing chill out pool area, nice bar!!! Easy walk into town and waterfront! Peaceful and quiet surroundings, but literally a minute walk to bars and restaurants... what people say » and shopping places. When I come back to SA I will be staying here again! - I loved the staff, they were all friendly and helpful :) The backpackers is located very well, very close to all amneties. I met great friends in my dorm, they were very considerate and great to hang with:) I will recommend the place to anyone visiting Cape Town. It was a great place and lovely vibe.

  The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. A very pleasant place to stay, only a quick taxi ride (or reasonable walking distance if so desired) of the V&A waterfront. There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.
