  The apartment was lovely and quite large. We didn't use the pool since we weren't there that long. (An overnight stay.) The rooms were large and beautiful. The shower was the best I had since leaving the States! Leon, the owner, let us in after arriving a full hour later than allowed. We were anxious that we weren't going to have a place to stay s... what people say » ince it was 2300 hrs when we arrived, but he didn't hesitate to open the gate to let us in. The staff there, servers, cook and office assistant, There - We arrived in Cape Town and had no where to stay and 51 on Forrest Drive where efficient and made our booking quickly and timeously and we were never disturbed when we were there and the food was delicious!

  It was very clean and the location was safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. More luxury than you might expect from a bed & breakfast (guest house). Really charming. We slept very good. (I would ask for a room which is not next to the breakfast area.) Overall we would come back!

  We were allocated a ground floor room which I was not too happy with, after mentioning it to Nobu at reception she went out of her way to arrange another room and get it ready for us. She was very polite and professional, an asset to the hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. - Beautiful antique furniture throughout.   Beautiful surroundings. Wonderful staff. Breakfast as and when you like. Quiet and well equipped. Plenty of parking. No interference from management.
