The staff, location, facilities and access to The One and Only Hotel's restaurant for breakfast were all fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff who assisted us with booking tickets and tours during our four days in Cape Town. Our apartment 504 with views of the V&A Marina and a backdrop of Table Mountain was pure luxury and walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. We will definitely recommend and will stay at Lawhill again on our next trip to SA.
all reviews » The Lawhill Apartments far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a fantastic view of the waterfront. Each bedroom had a very comfortable bed and an en-suite bathroom. We had more room than we needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. If I have a chance to go back to Cape Town, I would definitely try to stay here again. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and the tourist on- off bus. The apartment was facing immaculate and well furnished. It was located facing the canal and we had direct access from our apartment to the canal walk which led to the Harbour side, we saw seals on a viewing deck on the way , each day. Just lovely!. Brilliant stay for 2 weeks in 2 bed apartment. Staff really really helpful about things to do and see. They even managed to book a spectator boat to follow the Clipper RTW Yacht fleet out of the marina. Fantastic. The apartments were ideal for us to enjoy everything Cape Town has offer from the walking distance to the Waterfront for the evenings to the breath taking Cape Point. The Lawhill Apartments have a fantastic location but if I had to be picky, then I'd mention that not all of the pathway from the the Lawhill Apartments to the main attractions of the waterfront area is well lit. It was a shame the pool the apartments overlook is private since the spa is open to lawhill guests why not the pool area?. having to leave. Nothing not to like. My nephew who stayed with us had £100 go missing from his jeans which were in his bedroom, whilst we were out for the day. We advised the staff and the manager said he would e-mail us when he'd talked to the staff who were on duty that day - that was on 10th December but we are still waiting for a response. Having to hang around for a few hours while the room was prepared which is not ideal after an overnight flight from London. Because these are apartments, there is no space to relax, you have to find a coffee shop. thought it was a bit dark inside, and although it was luxury it missed a bit of personal touch. Nothing. Nothing. -Bed room is too small. -No coffee machine, just a very small plunger. Cleaning was not consistent and up to standard.

From the Cape Town International Airport: - Exit the airport and drive in the direction of Cape Town on the N2. - As you approach the city, follow the N2/City, Foreshore / Sea Point sign. - Follow the N2 Stad/City signs until you arrive at a large intersection (Coen Steytler Avenue). The CTICC is on left hand side (+- 22km) and the V&A Waterfront on your right hand side. - Turn right towards the Waterfront. - At the traffic circle (+- 150m), take the first exit and continue to wards the Waterfront. - At the second traffic circle (+-100m), on your right hand side, you will see a large security entrance to the V&A Waterfront Marina Residential. - Enter at the security and advise them that you are checking in. - We will have a representative meet you and check you into the apartment.
