I liked everything about this small cozy hotel located in quite part of Bratislava on the hills, ten minutes walk from old city and pedestrian street. The personnel was nice. i do not know about other hotels, but it is true **** hotel. The hotel was really lovely. it beautifully decorated and fresh. everything was new.the beds and pillows were the best ever. very quiet. jacuzzi bath in room.

A very comfortable, hotel situated in a quiet area of the city about a 10 mnute walk from the historical centre. I loved the cleanliness of the room, the atmosphere of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel is very clean, the staff is well-prepared and the rooms are modern and well-furnished. The wall with neighbour bedroom is too thin I heard my neighbour snoring. Restaurant very small so breakfast a problem as the number of guests outweighs the space. During the week, business people generally breakfast at similar times. Choice of food at breakfast was limited and the waitress was not very quick to clear tables nor was very friendly.Uphill climb from trollybus stop. Breakfast limited choice and a little basic for a 4-star hotel. Considered evening meal on arrival, but dining room deserted. Curtains need to be heavier to keep out light. twin room, very small but nice decor and clean. No ramp up to hotel which meant we had to carry bags up flights of steps. Antares is on a hill! As Bratislava is cheaper than most other European cites I did find the price a bit high as we would get the same standard and quality room for cheaper in other more expensive european cities i thought. Breakfast a little uninteresting. Very slow to replenish breakfast supplies, a litttle bit of a walkto old town. Breakfast was not great and not re-stocked as regularly as one would normally expect from a 4 star hotel. There are insufficient tables if everyone staying at the hotel arrives at once. Although it did not happen to us it could be that one would have to wait to get a table. better breakfeast.A good 15 mins walk from the Old Town. We expected it to be closer from internet information. The staff were not very friendly. Also the hotel charges 20 EUR for parking in their garage and scares you with stories of cars disappearing from outside on the street. We parked on the street and the car was still there the next day.For a four star hotel, I expected the breakfast buffet to be a bit more than just rolls, yougurts, cerials and some vegetables/fruits. Hotel staff - not very enthusiastic, nor professional. The breakfast buffet was also below standard (at 9 a.m., there were for instance no more croissants, cakes or other kind of sweets).Expensive for what is provided. Shower is a bit too small. Very poor English in the restaurant. Breakfast is from 7-10 AM. We arrived at 9.30 for breakfast and almost everything was finished. When we ask for some croissants and others there was no more. The milk was old. There were no many guests but we had to ask for breakfast plates and knives. Very dissapointing.poor breakfast, soft beds. Not really a four star by international standards. There was not internet connection at the lobby. No hotel PC or no wifi. In all 4 stars hotels this has become a basic. also there is no 5 minutes park area to stop the car or the taxi upon arrival. Nobody is available to pick up the luggages. Fitness room was not a fitness room because most of the equipment wasnot functionning. The hotel is noisy (so the noise of lager louts in the middle of the night is very noticeable), and the breakfast buffet is insufficient. The first morning it was good, the second morning certainly less, and the last morning decidedly bad. As a hotel manager you know exactly how many people will have breakfast, so there can be no surprises. Booked a double room and got a room with 2 single beds, and when weenquired were told all the double rooms were booked out.the computer for the guests was not working properly. espresso coffe not available. Reception staff unfriendly. Only twin-bedded rooms, no doubles. A bit of a trek to get to the old town. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. As a 3 star hotel, I would have given it better ratings. It's a nicely upgraded family pension but lacks the detail of a 4 star hotel. I was very disappointed upon my arrival, as I expected something better. Bookings.com should not rate this as a 4 star hotel anymore, to avoid further disappointment for its customers.the central heating did not work. the hotel was cold and this is not a four stars hotel.is not a central hotel.very expensive room. The Hotel is not up to the four standard.It was clean but the breakfast was not good. On the first am we arrived about 15 mins before the end of the time and there was only cereal , a few slices of white bread with the jam and butter, a few slices of cheese and that was it!! it was a little better the next few days but not much.There were no cutlery laid out, and the service at b`fast was poor.
