I read the previous reviews here after making the booking and therefore was skeptical. But I was not expecting a friendly and polite saudi receptionist. He seemed new at work and apologized for delay. My parents are very picky about cleanliness and they were very pleased. Breakfast was everything we expected for the price we paid. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks and this is to inform you that visited 3rd time with my family,it is very nice hotel and cooperative staff, but please arrange azan speaker in room and laundry service or change bath room tub curtains which is very old, any how every thing is fine and thanks and jazaka'allah kheir. khalid Khan - Riyadh - K.S.A.
all reviews » The staff were excellent, especially the operation manager. Although the check in was at 16:00pm we arrived early at 12:00 noon and my pregnant wife was extremely tired, the operation manager did his best to offer us a room by 13:00pm. That was really wonderful. The hotel was at a good location( but not 2 min walk as said on website. It's a good 5-6 minutes) and quite comfortable for its cost. While everything around was 1000+ , hayatt charged us 375 per night. The hotel location is close to Haram. Recommended for family with kids. Food variety in the hotel restaurant is really good, price is reasonable. Same for the room service. Location, Nice Cozy Rooms, Parking space was available. I booked a twin bedroom but instead they gave me a triple bedroom, which was handy with the kids. my suggestion is 1. increase number of service staff. 2. breakfast should be serve every one. 3. facility of tea/coffee in room. Location staff food was good with acceptable price when order through room service. Internet availability was ok to check and receive mail. i like how the stuff helping on all my needs and requests the hotel try to high value service to the customer price are OK food are ok too. I found Hayatt International a place worth staying all over the year but would suggest to make the rates more reachable by everyone. Decent size room (I stayed in a quad bed room) with most things you expect from a 4 star hotel. 5 minute walk to the holy mosque. Had to call the home cleaning several times before v got the room cleaned. The shower was a pain, since all the water would flood out e every time someone took shower. A kettle but no tea bags or sugar, very dark room with insufficient light. Not recommended if you have old people. About 5 minutes walk to Haram. Some things can be improved, like complimentary welcome fruit basket, sleepers in the room etc. They have to put moor effort in cleaning the room specially after using the room. It's not Hyatt regency brand i got confused when i booked no parking. Did not have parking avaiblable. While booking they said parking available but on arrival didn't got the parking For old age peoples it is not so near to Haram. Location was a little uncomfortable. it is hard to bring your car right there. They have parking though, but no parking available. streets are very conjested. No one instructed me about how to warm water for showering when I arrived. The wireless key was not working at first and second attempts. Then solved. The hotel park was full. This is a real problem in a very crowded place like Medina and close to Haram. Breakfast hot dishes on the buffet was cold. Room bathroom is small, the smell in the car park beside the elevators is terrible, the housekeeping did not arrange the room on day of checkout even after calling them they did not do it. Nothing. Parking Wireless internet very slow or absent You can still hear outside voices as they were inside your room. a bit far from mosque for old people. The breakfast is not good need more organize. None. WiFi was not working most of the times The card keys were not working and we had to go back and forth to the reception. Only one person at the front desk that speaks English and room cleaners seem to be busy after several request to clean the room. Not too much varieties at The open buffet. No connection to the internet inside the room (For me I was in the 8th floor). no dislikes. Room size Tv channels. No parking was available.... *the size of the room. The car parking is very narrow both the entry/exit. Nothing. A bit pricey for what is on offer. Small rooms.
