  Staff were friendly, some spoke some English. The room was very large with a sofa, small fridge and some crockery and a kettle. There is an outdoor eating area just outside the room with a lovely view of the lake. It is a bit of a hike from the main bus stop but once you know where you are you can just flag down a bus for the return journey.   We had a stop over between flights in Irkutsk and couldn't have chosen a better place! The room had amazing lake views and was beautifully quiet, peaceful, clean, light and spacious . The room was very nice, clean and well maintained. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was really good. The view of lake Baikal was fantastic. Overall this place is great and I highly recommend Krestovaya Pad to everybody who wants to have a nice vacation.

  I loved the generosity and welcoming attitude of the family. It means a lot when traveling to such a new environment. The hotel had all of the accomodations one could ask for with a comfortable atmosphere and extremely unique garden/decorating scheme. The location was perfect. It was easy to catch a marshutka to the lake but get away at the en... what people say » d of the day for relaxation. We ate breakfast there every day and it was a good spread with a little bit of everything one could want. I highly reco - Really liked the staff. The family who owns the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Make you want to come back to their hotel. The location is breathtaking, just by the lake Baikal. My room was very cosy - just keep in mind, this is a real "house in a village" experience, don't expect a city hotel facilities.
