An amazing find in Sighisoara. Definitely recommendable.Very good hotel, great location, right in the center of the city - everything is reachable from it. Room was superb, elegant design, very well decorated and...I do have to mention the very comfortable bed! The hotel is only a few steps from the historic center, right in front of the Clock Tower, in a very well renovated building. The private parking, behind the hotel, is free of charge. all reviews » Hotel Central Park is definately a 10 in hotels. We are a mature couple traveling throughout Europe on a motorcycle . Hotel Central Park location is wonderful,staff very helpful and friendly,food very good. Parking is provided in a very secure and gated yard behind the hotel. The room was a very pleasant surprise,first class, clean comfortable,large double bed with lots of pillows and puffy duvets.also with a great bathroom. Mini bar well stocked and priced fairly. They think of everything even. Cozy, friendly, at the gates of the old city, private parking, terrace, excellent restaurant (traditional and international food, very tasty, excellent prices, a large variety of very good romanian wines). I strongly recommend this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in a suite for 4, the room was perfect, very very clean and the view on the roofs of the old city was very romantic. An excellent point as base for visiting the old city and the surroundings (all the fortified churches, Viscri and so ma. We loved our staying at Central Park Hotel. It has also it's own parking, which is not very common if one wants to stay in the center of Sighishoara. Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, upon asking we were assigned without any problem a room with a large window and balcony. It was a pity that the grill menu was available in the restaurant only on Sunday. Nothing. Would prefer walk in shower instead of bath since much safer but this just me. The beautiful full length curtains cover the air conditioner when drawn. We discussed a possible solution with the owner, who seems committed to doing something about it. If this problem is solved, there are no negatives, as far as I'm concerned. Nothing at all. The bathroom had a bad smell coming from the ventilation but everything inside was 100% clean and looked very good. to go to the elevator you have to go upstairs. Nothing at all. no SPA-but they told me hotel just opened 6 months ago and they will build it in the near future. Nothing. The noise from the back yard of the hotel, was disturbing us to sleep. nothing. No parking you just take your chances on the street. the room didn't have a safe and didn't have a tea/coffee kit as one expects from a 4* hotel. bathroom a bit too small, and sink is not that stable, the curtanins to the bathtube are not that elegant and functional. nothing. No complaints. No window in the room; just a skylight. no spa/gym etc. Food quality needs improving, we had fish and we were served fish with BBK sauce, overcooked and cold. The chefs and restaurant staff must be a bit more discrete as we were hearing everything they were talking, they were very loud. To reach the elevator you have to step outside in the yard. There is no business center with computer and printer. No coffee maker in the room. Squeaky floors. The loud music from the bar next door. Having to wait to be served breakfast on a tray , the buffet is better for travellers to allow us to pick what we want to eat.
